the mom and the aunt were my favorite i also love the 2 grimoires they have in the show. didn't like the way the end the show with a cliffhanger knowing the aunt and the mom had a sister that looks like hell. the snake key was a real kill minus the hole killing every one close to the person that has it lol.
I never got why Freya seemed more weak then Ingrid yeah I get Ingrid’s powers are based of intellect and Freya’s are off emotion and yes are harder to control but intellect only gets u so far emotions are far more powerful we never saw Freya’s true potential I think she could’ve been more powerful then Ingrid. We saw what Ingrid’s powers not to the full extent but we had an idea however we never did see what Freya could do.
Freya isn't weak at all but the problem is that her powers are tied to her emotions which means that they are harder to control than Ingrid's (based on intellect) but they can be more helpful especially under stress situations.
The Beauchamp ladies have greater talent for magic in comparison to many other witches but if we look closely they are actually work on 3 different levels Joana is wise and trained so hard for many centuries which allowed her to rarely make mistakes using her powers Then Ingred , her character is so focused and calm which allowed to cover up her short comings as a young witch Then Wendy and Freya , Wendy get emotional which make her lack focus and the ability to control her full power that was growing so strong for many centuries while Freya is gifted in potions making and Aura reading but her spell casting is terrible and out of control especially when she was a beginner witch

Joanna definitely is overrated, but Ingrid's power came from her strength of mind and we never got to see that. She was gifted in spell writing and we never saw her make one after she tried to release her bondage to Wendy's resurrection. We needed to see her gift of creation unfortunately the show got cancelled
