National Travel and Tourism Day. Tuesday the 21st, we'll be celebrating with the Arkansas Welcome Center and Explore Harrison for national travel and tourism day. These professionals (and others) use their skills each day to increase our local economy through tourism.
Ribbon Cutting. Welcoming Buffalo River Air Tours on Wednesday at 10:00 to our Chamber and learning more about their business here in North Arkansas.
CTE Advisory Council. At Harrison High School we'll participate in the advisory council that gives community feedback to our educators in Career and Technical Education classes. Helping to shape curriculum and develop relationships between business and education.
AEDC Project Managers. Thursday afternoon we'll host a few project managers from the Arkansas Economic Development Commission as they visit Harrison to meet with a few of our businesses to talk about expansion incentives and learn more about Harrison. We work with AEDC every month to coordinate resources and potential projects for the Harrison region!
PLUS. Our conversation with Chris Rost, Owner at Nature's Wonders as they are celebrating 30 years in business. Another great entrepreneurship story with origins in the Harrison region! Thank you Chris and Michelle for your support of our Chamber and community.
