Trail Name: Sand caves of Kanab
Location: Kanab, Utah
Distance: 1.2 mile (out & back)
Elevation Gain: 121 ft
Point of Interest: Man made sandy caves
Alert: Avoid the trail on wet days since it becomes very slippery
Permit: Not required
Wheelchair Friendly: No
Pet Friendly: Yes but got to be on leash and pick up after your dog, please
Rating: Easy to moderate
Nice and easy out & back trail that leads you to a man-made cave. The layers of sandstone patterns and the views of HWY 89 from the cave threshold are something amazing to experience especially during the sunset hours.
