Yes very true, Boogsie should of really sped the song up and added more runs and jazz within the arrangement.If you reflect on classic arrangements by Boogsie such as "Breakdown","Woman is Boss","Jam Meh up"etc the arrangemets had much more complicated runs,unique tenor bass and guitar pan patterns,and intricate chord proggessions than the other bands..
its just funny to hear people that cannot arrange a song say oh this tht bout boogsie music he cyah win with that but when i talk to arranger in trini they admit that Phase II is the band to beat everyear
@Pantastic88 ppl don't know shit u see !! i not sayin this because i is a phase ii fan eh !! but boogsie is in a class by himself no one can touch his musical skillz and his genius...maybe bradley was the only man in recent times to really give him competition.....jit is a boss too and so is the professor philomore, pelham is also good....but boogsie on a diffrent level dread...plain an simple

It’s not Trinibago’s faults if the bands didn’t listen. 🤷🏾♀️ genuinely asking. Cause last weeks semi’s small. They were saying up to how many players for each.
I disagree, I think that its good showmanship, its not for everybody, but Boogsie as a Composer & Arranger has every right to conduct his music. Question: In your opinion, did Bradley look foolish while conducting his bands???

Nice tune, nice intro, don't care for the rest of the arrangement much though. The modulation from 5:05-5:17 is maybe the worst key change i've heard in any panorama tune. The repetitive ascending chromatic figures near the end of the tune starting at 6:45 are pretty bad too, although slightly improved from semis. And enough with the corny classical endings already! Come on man, where's the classic Boogsie we saw in Pan Rebels, Fire Down Below, Jam Meh Up, Mind Yuh Business, even Sharing Licks?

This the year pan trinibago messed up all the large bands and made us drop 20 sum players on the drag terrible
