KCM is a Starcraft Broodwar tournament where species compete in best of 1 matches until only 1 is left standing. All the strongest players from ASL and other Korean tournaments are in attendance each epic season to decide which team will dominate the KCM and the world. Protoss Zerg or Terran?

Wasn't the finals we asked for but it's certainly the one we got, it's been a hell of a ride this season and I'm super psyched to get stuck into a new one in the next week or two depending on how they want to handle scheduling. Think I’ve seen JD lose like that a million times by now.
Yeah, he's mid. JD is basically the line I draw for players I don't want to use my time on watching. I'm not watching guys like Stork, YSC, Jaedong, or Speed in premier tournaments. Maybe if I'm bored and Artosis is commentating a one-off, sure, but c'mon, there's a huge gap between the ~12 elite players and everyone else.
its so fascinating to me how this game has undergone so many meta changes over 20+ years and yet the age old T>Z>P>T still holds true in every meta

I know the results were lopsided, but the crispness of that opening Valk rush along with the final MM moveout was so impressive to watch. Seems like Terrans really labbed out these new maps, only losing on returning map Radeon and a barely missed turret timing (beautifully exploited by JD). That said, I was really impressed with Shine's Kickback build. That map figures to be a wild one moving forward.
Not sure about how I feel about the mid-season map change. Seemed to shift the season results on a dime. Nice to get a preview of the SSL maps, though. We'll see how they hold up. Zergs have been struggling for a while now, even if a couple Zergs at the very top have been getting results. I like the move to harder-to-take thirds to promote more aggressive play, but maybe the next map pool could assist muta harass a bit? Not everyone likes shorter games, though.
What a perfect night. Its my anniversary and my wife got me some Johnnie Walker King George scotch. So we had a great anniversary day and now I'm sipping it watching KCM finals. Can't imagine a better night!

Team zerg didn't really show up: No Soulkey, no Hero, no Action. Whereas Terran's squad were super strong.
all games were SK terran vs very similar openings from Zerg :(. We needed Soulkey

Shine has been so entertaining to watch in these last few series. The guardian play with hydras coming in clutch to save them was a nail-biter. He's becoming one of my favorite players.
I like when TvZ are short. Either terran wins with timing before mutas, Zerg wins with muta harass , Terran wins with counterattack after Muta or it becomes a huge slog once defilers are in.

Great final I love terrans and it was a beating! I hope Light take his Great level again, always was a very hard player with dinámics and Strong defensas, but so many time he Lost his powe i don't know. Terrans in team are powerfull but individualy vs Protoss are a suit jajaja. Greetings

I was thinking the same, maybe in the semifinals/final the all kill should include the revival too
I am also really confused about this but forgot to mention it in the cast. According to the rules we had translated he for sure should have received that payout. I'm not sure what happened

What's the point of watching all season long when the best players aren't playing in the playoffs? This season was the worst KCM season I've seen since I started watching KCM religiously ~5-6 years ago.
Week 6 this season was the greatest week we have ever seen. Disappointing finals does not make this the worst season ever. I wish we could have ALL the best players in every week of KCM too
@@SaiyanKCM I don't even remember Week 6 like that. The level of competition just wasn't that high this season compared to past years.

@@SaiyanKCM It's like a regular season NBA game. I love the NBA. A regular season game can be great, but since it has limited stakes, it can only matter so much.
I'm sure the games were great and I'll remember them if I rewatch them. It's simply that without a strong postseason, it's a waste of 8 weeks. Nobody ever goes around saying, "Man, Ro16 ASL is the best!" Because the stakes just aren't high enough.
And previous KCMs *regularly* had stacked lineups like that. It's been getting a bit watered down recently -- too many games, period, dilutes the product.
So to sum up: you have the memory of a hamster or only watched the finals and because the games weren't up to your standard you want to write off the whole season. Bro you are not a fan of Broodwar, nobody who actually loves BW complains that there are "too many games" get out of here seriously don't watch and stop whining in my comments section.

PvT and TvZ are balanced. I think ZvP smh unfortunately Flash denied patching the game but it really needed a patch to balance out ZvP. I think even 20 seconds longer for each hydra upgrade would work as that doesn't affect ZvT at all. I really am annoyed by Flash for denying the patch. In fact, from remastered, Terran actually got a buff because of valkyrie micro.
