I really like these little behind-the-scenes videos.
And as for Mullett arena, I remember how a couple players said how good the ice was. And it was cool they were first to score in their new arena.
The Lower the ceiling the better the temperature control = better ice

Yea I never understood the level of disrespect for a brand new facility that was upgraded to NHL standards. They really made it seem like teams will play in a 40 year old colosseum that's not made for hockey.
@@IBegToDiffer200 I mean Jets didn't have a dressing room.. they had cloth barriers and portable stalls.. thats pretty sad playing at the highest level
@@IBegToDiffer200 Nobody made it seem like it was a 40-year-old building. What was talked about, and rightfully so, is how an NHL team is playing in a college arena that's smaller than some actual junior hockey rinks, as well as a number of college rinks. The dressing rooms alone, pale in comparison to say the locker rooms at North Dakota's Engelstad Arena or UMass' Mullins Center. That's flat out embarrassing for an NHL team.

Geez, I hope there wasn’t a time change for the equipment guys from LA to arizona because even being off by one hour and heading for bed at stupid o’clock would mess me up.
I mean every NHL player has played in a smaller venue so it’s really nothing.
But not at the pro level. The pro level is supposed to be the big show in a big league arena. Not going back to college.

One year the flames and jets should play a pre-season game in Atlanta
Opening night in a mini arena and inspite of all that plus the fact the tickets must be dirt cheap when compared to a hockey market like Winnipeg. They steal couldn't sell out half the stands for opening night. This is beyond bush league

@@AZ-lx9oq Officially, yes, but there have been so many empty seats at puck drop, and some never fill. Add to that the seas of opposing fans, and it tells me there's not enough local interest.
