Everybody, including myself, have been waiting a very long time for this video to get released... and now it's finally here. It's been about four years since I've uploaded the original MA5B tutorial... so the community has long been overdue for an updated version of the halo assault rifle.
I can't thank everyone enough for your patience and encouragement to motivate me to move forward towards creating videos like these! I really do enjoy making them.

We need manufacturers to make these licensed products! I want more halo airsoft guns to be standardized. More than just unsc, covenant too
I feel that we'll be getting even more Halo Airsoft variety pretty soon. Mostly created by the community itself, and they're doing a fantastic job so far!

@@SpartanJess i have to ask, can you make a parts kit or at least a parts list and or a price up for both on the hpa one with parts you recommend? i just got an ma40 that i wanna do a ma37 paintjob/body kit possibly a ma5b body kit and it would help so much, im fairly new to airsoft but from the start i have always wanted to have my own halo ar, even if i am practicing to play as a sniper, that and im looking for an excuse to doll up my ma40, that and im also very new and late to the party on hpa so overall i know too little to make educated purchases yet, so even if its just a list of recommended bits, any and all advice would be appreciated
also a touch frustrated as i thought you stopped uploading, turns out turning notifications on means nothing to google anymore
but i digress, any help and info would be appreciated
addendum i also don't have a 3d printer nor do i have anywhere near me that offers 3d printing

Excellent work, and a great production! Thank you for showing three different methods, even though the intent was to show hpa/gbb/aeg, it also shows three very different design concepts for us to decide between! Make me want to make a MK2 of my paintball design!

I wish Ryan from Ballahack would have a list of parts/components apart from the 3D files just so that its easier to know exactly what to get to complete the build
Thankfully on his Cults3D page consisting the HPA MA40 conversion files, in the description of it, Ryan goes into detail about what's needed for the assembly.

@@SirQuacksalotthe1st Foundry Airsoft is in the process of figuring out what route they're wanting to do with incorporating an ammo counter into the kit.
I would have done the charging handle differently: MA5B style of HK slapper
I thought about it, but I didn't want to bend the aluminum elbow more than I already did. Didn't want it to break.
I wonder how difficult it would be to make a functioning MA40 ammo counter, with the compass.... for airsoft of course

Honestly any kind of printer that has a wide enough plate to print onto. If you don't have one yourself, I'd recommend Alpha to Zeta Industries print out the parts for you.

For the AEG version, do I need to attach the gun to the nerf gun or does it just sit there? Also do I have to do anything to my M4 that might harm it?

With the aeg version, do you have to cut the nerf gun at all or does everything fit right on in? Is it pretty easy to replace the trigger? Looks like a fun and easy project might be my first custom build that I attempt
Im glad you're interested in doing this project! For all of the variants, you'll have to dremel the interior to some extent. Allowing whichever platform you chose to fit inside the nerf body. For the AEG version, the trigger replacement should be a standard replacement for the M4 itself.
What if you use an hpa adapter for m4 mags in the gbb

Man, the HPA build is super similar to something I've been dreaming up for a while. I want to essentially do the same thing, but with the polarstar kythera engine, and make it look more like the halo reach DMR. Anybody know if thats been done before? If so, I'd love to see their work.
And where do you get unsc marine helmet cosplay

You could reinforce it with a fiberglass interior to help prevent it breaking.
Do you have the following items regarding the HPA conversion:
-Length of aluminum square tube
- Spacing of 3d printed mounts from each other or based off of end of alluminum tube
-specific tank/regulator used (slp? No slp?)
(I may add to this, about to head out but just came to mind)

This Is what Ryan told me.
There is no measurement for the tube, it’s cut to fit once the MA40 is hollowed out.
Parts mounted to the tube are the same way, placed where they fit once the MA40 shell is carved out.
The regulator is a PolarStar Micro, tank doesn’t matter as it works with both regulator and slp 13cu tanks.

@@b-swazy316 I have not. Currently working on two major projects (old truck and land) so it may be a minute before I make this happen.
I did gut my NERF MA40 and that was rather easy. Still need the alluminum tube, hpa tank, and reg. Then having the parts 3d printed, as well as electronics (buttons and what not). Shouldn't be too bad, Ryan gave great views of his rifle.

would a UAR be possible for an AEG conversion like you did with the last Assault Rifle?
We've had someone attempt it in the Halo Airsoft Community Facebook page. It's possible to do, however it'll looks a bit different compared to what you see here. You'll essentially be using the front of the MA40 as an attachment to the UAR because the back is a bit wider than the MA40.
Is it possible to make that with UAR 1?

I'm probably going to pass on it honestly. I'd like to keep the channel centered around just airsoft and things related to the sport or other sci-fi franchises.
However if I appeared on another channel about the topic, then it might be a different story. But for now, that's my thought process about that topic.
@@SpartanJess I totally understand. Though, you might find Halo fan, cad designer and firearms collector booligan shooting sports interesting. He has a magnum conversion kit for a Glock 19 and and lot more video games inspired firearms.
