Mike and Karen I am so glad I found you! My husband Donald and I used to camp when our boys were small, but had to stop due to lack of time to get to go. One of our sons was sick for 21 years and sadly we lost him, so now we are back camping again! God is so good to make camping possible for us again. Keep up your work of showing how wonderful life can be as a Christian❤

The KOA is our Go-To campground. We can be there in 30 minutes from the house. Always nice and relaxing parked next to the river.

Thank you for showing the KOA grounds, we drove by there towards the end of our family's visiti to The Smokys this past December. I want to return BUT this time just the hubby & me only. I took note of a brewery or winery that I saw, I have to check my map again. It looks so peaceful & relaxing!! 😍 Love how you both enjoyed it.

Love Townsend KOA! We were there on a Saturday this past Fall. College football and campfires were at every campsite. They also had family movie night next to the pavilion which was pretty cool. We can’t wait to go back. So glad you guys did this review and had so much fun. God bless!

We like Townsend, more peaceful, closer to Cades Cove, and the best steak house…Trailhead Steak & Trout! We just discovered your CZcams channel and enjoy watching you’re adventures! We’re actually staying at the Mountaineer Campground this week per your review of it. We love it. Glad we found you and subscribed. 😊
Wonderful place to stay. I was in a primitive cabin when I stayed there. A large tree branch snapped and landed on my car roof. They were very helpful with making sure the damages were covered. ☺️
Such a beautiful setting there. Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed at the KOA several times and love it. We live in Knoxville so we get to go up there quite a bit. We have stayed there before it was a KOA. It used to Little River Village. We have had bears come to our sites 3or 4 times. It is awesome and the kids and grandkids love it. They have made a lot of upgrades to the campground. I’m glad you had a good experience there. We always did. Love your videos. The river stone restaurant is a good place to eat. Take care.

Great area! We used to camp at Sundown Resort in Townsend back in the 70s and in 82 for the Worlds Fair. Nice KOA we toured it awhile back.

We keep driving by that KOA on our way to camp in Cades Cove. What a nice campground. We always wondered what it looked like. We definitely like the quieter side of the smokes around Townsend. Pearl likes Karen's jacket. You guys got us wanting to get out camping. Come on spring we got a new RV to try

Great camp spot for a commercial campground. Mustard is on top of hotdogs for us. We enjoy Townsend to visit but campgrounds in The National Park. Enjoyed the video. Happy Camping 🏕 ☺️

We drove through one of the other campgrounds in Townsend but not the KOA. Someday when we can take 2 Smokies trips a year we'll do one in Pigeon Forge and one in Townsend. Very nice tour. Thanks guys.

We have camped at Little Arrow, but that KOA looks great. Love love the river. Tubing when its warm is THE BEST thing to do. Really like your camper too.

We took our girls every summer 20 years ago to Townsend ! Lots of good memories tubing down the river , bike riding and not crazy like Pigeon Forge that’s why it’s the “peaceful, quiet side “ of the Smokies!

KOA Townsend is our FAVORITE!!! It’s awesome for kids too. Love all of the trees and shade. Best campground in our opinion.

So much fun, enjoyed watching Big T .Also when roasting marshmallows, hold them above the flames ,it takes awhile for them to get golden brown ,but worth it .l don't like burned marshmallows.

Never been camping like this but be sure to get the 84A site when you come back. It gives you an open area so you are not looking into another camper or RV. I loved the river sound and quiet area behind your site. Place looked clean and inviting. I was going to ask Mike if he remembered the food this time out :) after the last time he and Big T had to eat some sort of dried food. Buy a small pull chopper off of QVC by Kuhn Rikon 2-Cup Pull & Chop Food Chopper. It cuts an onion up in 4 to 5 pulls! No teary eyes! Loved the video!
