The song is written by Jun. K, but the song went viral & topped the chart after released for 5 years because of Junho, even gaining the nickname "My House Junho". This is also the reason why 2PM finally comes back to the "eye" of the local market (it is said on variety shows that the locals thought the group disbanded already, as their career is being prioritized in Japan after 2010)
In one of your past reactions, Beth mentioned you understood why many people love Junho because of his charm on stage. However, people love Junho mainly because many know how tough it is for him to shine. He is literally the life example of how hard work pays off. When he is not supported by the Company in the early days (he is the one usually had no individual schedule and wait for the members at the dorm), he didn't give up but work very hard to strengthen his skills and become an all-rounder. In fact, unlike other members who have a particular skill that stands out the most (singing for Jun. K, dancing for Wooyoung, etc.), Junho is the one with the most balanced skill set (singing, dancing, acting, composing, instrument-wise). [Not saying other members are only good at a certain aspect but they do usually has a specific skill that shines the most] Hence, whenever people talk about a certain aspect, he may not be the first member on list (usually the 2nd one though, may be top the list for acting but I am discussing the general cases), but he is the whole package tbh. And he works very hard behind the scene to attain this. Like what Wooyong said on Knowing Bros, all members always put the group in mind, but Junho is the one that thinks about the group the most and being catious with his every move to ensure he will not do anything that damages the group's image or whatsoever. In an interview for an acting award ceremony, he said something like he is happy that he can finally help promote the group/contribute to the group by saying he is Junho from 2PM when receiving an award. (Considering there is often hard critics on idols acting, it's a rare case for idol-actor to address himself with idol group's name when receiving an acting award, reason why it's one of the questions from reporters for Junho to address himself as Junho from 2PM) After being pointed out, he seldom addressed himself as Junho from 2PM when getting an acting award anymore (he swiped most of the acting awards with The Red Sleeve, his first drama after military, the first and only idol-actor winning Baeksang Best Actor Award) and he is being accused by so called fans for not adding 2PM in front of his name, claiming that shows he doesn't care about the group 🙄. Simply hope there is less drama in the whole fandom. They are really a family.
Sadly, people seldom appreciate the group's works when Hottest know they have a lot of gems. (The situation is better after the "chart reversal" of My House, but I think they deserve more) As their career is mainly in Japan, there are so many gems in Japanese. Noted most of the youtube reactors only focus on their Korean works and missing out A LOT. Since you have not touched any of their Japanese works yet, can't wait till you girls check out their Japanese works (losing our sanity together 🤪) . Personally, I think their Japanese songs are even better than Korean ones, but one may disagree.
I'm proud of Junho for getting through those hard times to where he is today. I like what he's doing these next few months with his fan meets across Asia. Having a small concert and interacting with his fans. I like it because it shows me he's still interested in music and that means, hopefully, we'll get to see him create more solo music. I love...love...love his voice and dancing...and of course, acting.
Those so-called fans will find anything to nitpick but the guys are all immune to it anyway and don't really give a shit. They have proven time and time again that they will stand by one another. How often they mention 2PM on national TV isn't even that important anymore. The true fans will have relished the fact that they just had a bunch of sold-out 15th anniversary concerts and are doing well enough for themselves in their solo stuff.
I also get chills listening to this for the umpteenth time. It doesn't always happen to me since I've heard it so many times but for some reason it did today. I guess it's me loving a classic 2pm song.
The crazy thing about "My House"...2pm was only able to promote this for 1 week when it debuted because there were problems with a director (?). I don't remember the full details but point is My House wasn't the success they expected. Then in 2020 based on YT algorithim... a Junho fancam (from Nuneogun) pushed My House into the top 3 list of songs trending and 5 yeasrs later it became even more popular than when it originally debuted. This happened when Junho was in the military. So all of a sudden you had a My House challenge of many idol groups performing My House choreo. and the recent popularity is reason they included the acoustic version of My House in their Must album.
This song originally came out at such a good time in kpop, too, cause even if you weren't a fan of a group/artist you might give something a shot. I wasn't a 2pm fan, but I heard the song and watched the video, only to become obsessed with it! It still remains one of my favorite kpop songs and mv^.^ I had wondered why it was suddenly popping up recently~~~
The director dropped out days before filming which delayed the comeback. It was a mess because the director's production company tried to deflect responsibility (leading to JYP fighting back with a lawsuit) and there was speculation that this director shunned 2PM for Big Bang but the latter claim hasn't been substantiated.
Random fun fact: Monsta X members Minhyuk and Joohoney got to fulfill fanboy fantasies when they covered the chorus on Knowing Bros together with Jun.K and Wooyoung
I've watched the MX cover shortly after becoming a Monbebe - this cover popped up on my feed, probably because the 2PM algorithm picked it up. Initially I went ~ what in the world these boys are doing.....but then I can totally see 2PM doing the same if they ever spoof their own song lol
Fun fact - the song briefly played at the intro of the video is a 2PM song too 😉

Did you know the amazing songwriter Chansung is? Taec always brings his fantastic acting abilities into their MV’s and off course WooYoung brought his scrumptious self into this MV. All 6 of this group have their own mind blowing talents and I’m so happy you’re a part of the hottest family

Reoccurring theme in several 2PM mv's is 6 Piems vying for 1 woman's attention. Apparently you have to be Miss Korea 2012 to be the ONE in "My House". 😄

Oh my gosh with the cover I have seen a few of those scenes 😂😂 I had no idea this is where it came from. Like with min and kihyun with the bed I have seen the scene where Kiki is dusting the bed and literally following min where he goes 😂😂😂 and min cussed at him haha. Also this was done during the follow era. I can tell because of my hyungwon hair 😢😢 ❤. And the shownu and jooheon scene with the noodles. And lady and the tramping it 😂😂😂 and when shownu took the entire noodle and jooheon face was priceless 😂😂😂 and hyungwon and changkhyun with the van 😂😂😂 this was priceless. But Julianna's observation is right (and I do have an entire collection lloooolll), I do gravitate to main vocalists (without knowing that they are the main vocalist) with the occasional main dancer. lol.
I just wish I had been there the first time Wooyoung did the nose scrunchy aegyo on camera. People died. I'm sure of it. (8:41 - you both blushed when he did it. So did I). And when Jun K. just leaned right in, my first thought (after my brain restarted) was 'oh he must smell so good.'
