It's sad really because if you notice closely it's hitting everyone hard. Salman Khan is probably the most prominent victim as he's nearly all but vanished from the film arena. Next is Akshay. Probably the last one to go would be SRK. As he's the most agile and adaptive one amongst all these.

Not one point you made is valid. Not one. The original didn’t release in theatres. Not everyone likes dubbed film. The director and Surya both wanted the remake and Akshay. Drishyam, Jersey remakes are better. Ajay Devgn and Manoj Bajpayee also do multiple films a year. Audiences are liking this film. Akshay makes different films from his previous one. His films like Mission Raniganj and OMG2 were better than most of 2023 films. As a star, his Bade Miyan Chote Miyan opened with 33 crores so stardom has always been there.

I feel this movie was great. We should just stop trolling meaningful movies. Majority of us don't see south indian movies. So if they are planning to do even remake, i feel fine. And the story is based on how startups were built in 2000s, really liked everything about story. Akshay kumar is a natural actor and really loved everything. Even cameo at the end. Haha. Nice
Suriya hasn’t had a big hit in Tamil since Singam 3. The original was released in OTT, so remaking it was a huge mistake. Not surprised it failed.
