Hello Ann, how were you able to get your residence permit to Norway approved in just a month ? I am a ugandan and my Husband is a Norwegian. We officially got married in Church in Norway while I was on a visit visa . I returned home and we applied for family reunification last year but upto now no answer yet. How did you do yours so fast? Not easy to live far away from the person you love so much
It takes longer if you came on a visit visa and got married. Us we had dated a longer time(3 years) before we got married and I was here on a student visa.

@anneandjohan oh I now understand. It's faster with the student visa. My husband and I had actually dated for a long time but during that time we could just visit each other, sometimes I would travel to Norway and the reverse until he proposed and decided to have the wedding. ❤.

Did your husband apply for visa back in Norway or at the airport???
He applied for a document called eTA on ecitizen while still in Norway. You have to apply for it at least a week to travelling.
