As someone who had to make the difficult choice to put down their childhood cat. That first Tiktok made me very uncomfortable. Even our pets deserve the right to be laid to rest in a respectable manner. And keeping your dead pet around like that is sure to take a toll on one's mind.

No you're not, you can't uncrack the eggs, you can't unmix the flour because you have started the process.
Sure you can dump it out but that is destroying something that will one day become an amazing fully baked cake. By dumping those mixed ingredients you are dumping out the time effort and love spent making the cake and all the things that cake could be.
If you don't want a cake, keep the ingredients separate (abstinence) or accept that once you've mixed the ingredients in the right way (conception) you have made a cake even if it's not ready to eat til it's done in the over

He is one with God the Father, but also had a human father on earth. Joseph was, in a sense, His adopted father (if that makes it easier to think about.) It sounds like people are trying to twist those facts to make it sound as though they were at all romantically involved in raising Jesus.

It’s definitely coming! Jesus came to deliver us from sin if we only accept Him as Lord and repent. There will come a time where it’s too late and people will receive justice. We don’t hate the sinners but we hate the sin, to the other commenters who are confused.

The bigger point is the ingredients for a cake baby are ALREADY in the oven. You don’t have to put them there. It’s already baking/growing.
Exactly. In the cake metaphor, the eggs, flour, etc. are the sex gametes (sperm and egg). As soon as those two come into contact (i.e., the sperm penetrates the protective layer of the egg), you have conception and life. To intentionally remove that life is, definitionally, murder. It’s not about how much time in the oven it takes to make the cake look like other cakes-it’s not a process but rather an instant-which is why the cake metaphor is grossly inaccurate.

Yesterday I had an incident at the mall and a black couple came to my aide and were absolutely amazing! They set with me and talk to me and at the end I hugged them and thank them so much for comforting me. I did up giving them my husband's business card and it just so happened that she was looking for a chiropractor that morning so this couple was amazing and at the time none of us saw color. They saw a person in need and I saw people who were willing to help and that was it! I couldn't explain more how color does it matter and I'm sick of people constantly saying that! People are people why can't we just accept that. This all is just so unbelievably sad to me! I grew up being the odd one out if you get my drift and the school I went to we all just treated each other like we've known each other forever. There was never a black and white thing even though our school was predominantly black. Back in the early '90s it just was different. Sometimes I wish I had videos from back then so people can see how different it was and how life was a lot more simple. We have gone so far backwards I wonder if there's no way to ever move forward again. I feel like we've failed the human species and we deserve what we get. Kudos idiots!

Trans ideology is toxic to kids, it is not about love at all. It's about a lot of disturbed & aggressive people who demand company (or insist on validation) in their delusions, with "minor attracted persons" skulking along in the background, and never mind the consequences for the poor kids. One massive giveaway that it has nothing to do with love, is how they treat kids who were bullied or conned into surgery/hormones but then change their minds. Those kids are then brutally shunned, as if they never existed at all.
Chloe Cole and her parents were pressured into hormones and removing her breasts as a teenager because they were told she would commit suicide otherwise. Chloe was definitely unhappy as a teenager, but her problem was autism not "gender dysphoria", as she now realizes. Teenage years are often very difficult and her autism made it overwhelming. Now she has to live with permanent mutilations to her body for no reason. She is well spoken and would have had a perfectly fine life if the "experts" had just guided her through the turmoil of adolescence. Which was their duty of care! Instead they butchered her in the name of some pagan ideology. She is a charming and thoughtful person who is educating other kids & their parents, which is a very good thing. Even though she has no self-pity at all, I always feel sadness at what was so needlessly taken away from her, and countless other children like her.

Right? I mean, I know where the cake metaphor came from (it's a Bill Burr joke), and it worked in its original form, but the further you try to scrutinize it the less it works. Which is like every other metaphor because language can only be so precise, especially when working in the abstract and comparative realms.
Well and even realistically. The ingredients is more like the preconception, it's the parts each of the couple provides that need to come together. Woman lose an unfertilized egg every month, most of us don't mourn that. But once those separate ingredients come together and are mixed it's a cake/baby. Just need a bit of time to cook. And we also know that those ingredients mixed together make a cake, not cookies or bread, or a steak dinner. We know it's gonna be a cake, and aren't surprised when a cake comes out in the end. God doesn’t want us to just throw our hands up and say “it’s none of my business” or “Let people be” or “you do you” or whatever way you want to put it. I agree. Just because we are in the Faith does not mean we have to idly stand by and watch , we fight against this every day with prayer but in the real world we must speak up also, but the approach and wording are so very touchy. I have learned in these situations that I can love, but not condone and this is my approach. I used to debate these things, racism, transgenderism, and so forth and then I stepped back and watched. Now, the 'norms' are fighting back and fiercely at that and in time this will all pan out, though I do wonder about the long-term effects of it all. Be careful also not to 'defend' the faith on instinct against these attacks of darkness, we've nothing to defend just speak truth and it will show to the masses that see.

There are many places in the Bible where Christians are told specifically to hate evil, I’m not saying we should be hateful towards people because we are all evil. I adore my cats so much and it's heartbreaking when they pass away but freeze drying them is just creepy. It would make me feel both creeped out and sad to see my deceased pet like that.
I had to put my cat to sleep after 17 years. I held her until she passed away. I can't even describe the pain. It passed, but still hurts to think about. I had her cremated and her ashes are in a nice wooden box along with cast of her paw print and little bit of her fur. It was the right thing to do for me. With that said, what this person did was CREEPY!!! I couldn't imagine my kitty on display staring at me with those glass eyes! This person gives me that Ed gein vibe ,😱😱😱😱

I’m in Gen Z and I agree with him on this. I’ve had a job since I was 17. I’m 20 now, almost 21. Even though it’s not the job I want, it’s a job and I work my ass off to do the best I can to have a good reputation and good references for future employment. I’m also going for a degree that ends with an internship and then, if everything goes to plan (which is very likely), I’ll have a job right out of college paying roughly $60,000 a year starting out with a huge chance for wage increases. I’m planning on getting a master’s in clinical psychology as well so I can practice in multiple fields, hopefully bringing in more money that way.
Unfortunately, though, a lot of my generation doesn’t want to actually work hard. They want everything to be handed to them. It’s painful to watch from my standpoint since I understand that most degrees that colleges offer are completely and utterly worthless outside of the college domain… and yet a huge number of gen z kids go to college for things like “diversity studies” and things of that nature. They go for degrees that do literally nothing for them, but then expect to be making six figures a year with just a bachelor’s degree in a worthless area of study.
The sooner my generation catches onto the value of hard work and going for genuinely good degrees, the better. But that’s not likely to happen.
