  • Quick, Easy, & CHEAP DIY wood stud and conduit wall lumber rack. Super easy and affordable lumber rack that is infinitely scalable & versatile to suit most spaces and grow with you as your needs change. I was tired of outgrowing rolling carts and trying to "adjust" metal wall racks. So for less than $55.00 you can DIY an entire wall of shelves as shown in video. That's over twice the shelf space of retail racks at less than half the cost.
My mini-drill press slightly complicated the build but really the entire unit could be built with basic tools if needed. Please leave any questions and/or comments below. Thanks for watching!
I an not sponsored and have no affiliate links, just a list of tools or items personally used or seen in the video. Happy to discuss business opportunities, especially if regarding reviewing a full size drill press :)

I used a fostner bit, shorter length than the spade bit and a cleaner cut.

Nice video! You should look for a Craftsman King Seeley drill press made in the '50s or early '60s. They have a quill travel of about 4 inches. Some lower end Dunlap models don't have a depth gauge and stop, so just make sure the one you buy has one. They're available in both floor model and table-top versions. Most have 1/2 hp motors.

9:40 Just FYI, a "five percent" slope is different from a "five degree" slope, which is what you've got there. An actual 5% slope or grade = arctan (5/100) = 2.86 deg. Worth knowing.
