I wouldn't say empires, but certainly smallish countries with enough trained manpower armed with the AK+RPG you have a fighting chance at least.

it actually struggles to do any meaningful damage against modern tanks, tho to be fair most of its peers also struggle as well. this platform and its immediate peers lost their spot as the prime Anti tank weapons to things like the Javelin and Kornet but still are plenty effective against IFVs and fortifications.

Let's review...for our audiences at home...it's easy to use, extremely portable, it's effective against armor, infantry and low flying aircraft...it has airburst capability...it's dirt cheap...sturdy beyond belief and so simple even a US soldier can use it....what's not to love (except of course having one fired at you).
The main thing is to make a takeaway in the wind

As a Brit who used to teach 'TEFL', I can't fault the presenter's English. Perfect English.
You should make a version of the OG-7 with a simple 'egg-timer finger click adjustable' airburst function, for 50M-75M-100M-150M ect that you can set and fire at defilade targets, I'm sick of watching all those corner fighters in Syria.

I need one of these for dealing with all the armored vehicles in town! Damn manufacturer has piss poor security and anyone could steal one! The sheriff and police don't have the firepower to stop one if it does get stolen! 2 launchers, 2x 7.62x39 trainers, and 100 HEAT rounds would be perfect!

When you can have a steel tube with wood, and a variables Rockets of your choices that can bust the tank, IFV, Armored Jeep, Trucks.

Cheap AF than AT-4 or Carl Gustav.
Not as effective as top down javelin or maaws weapon system. Against a modern MBT rpg is only useful with tandem, and even then not especially effective.

Even though all IFVs has active protection system, the RPGs real weapon is the fear it has, when there is 1 there must be more of them.
Ww3 would most likely involve active protection for tanks. A top down attack would still have a place in the modern battlefield. Plus, with IR sights, infantry do have a legit concern. Perhaps the age of tanks is still long. And mbts of today dont rely on plain steel plates anymore. Until actual conflict happens, no one can really say how anything will fare
@Moraceae javelin has been used in conflict. Also it is fair to compare javelin to the rpg with tandem. They same purpose

Okay so i looked into it and it looks like russian paratroopers would use the RPG-26 and the RPG-27 both are disposable rocket launchers so a one time use thing but they are much much smaller and technically come pre loaded im sure they even have some now that can be used more than once. So no russian paratroopers use nothing like the RPG-7v2 unless they are in Ukraine as front line troops spearheading shit cause obviously shits changed a bit for russian doctrine.

You ll have to close in 200-300 meters to the tank. The 7.62 mm machine gun or 30 mm calibre cannon of a tank will burst you from 700 - 1200 meters away.

Такое сейчас толкнуть можно разве что отсталым арабам... Учитывая что есть РПГ с в разы лучшими характеристиками чем у РПГ-7, например РПГ-26/28/29.
РПГ 26 и 28 одноразовые. их сравнивать с РПГ-7 попросту бесполезно. что касается РПГ - 29 то у него все те же недостатки что и у РПГ-7. а главный из них - резкое усложнение выстрела в плохих погодных условиях для разных выстрелов. РПГ-7 чуть компактнее и легче с ним сайгачить. но у РПГ-7 есть преимущество над "вампиром", у него есть противопехотные осколочные и термобарические выстрелы. даже если и вампир современнее и технологичнее, я выберу свою родную семерку. потому что я ее знаю и потому что она универсальнее. ах да, противотанковый выстрел у 29го значительно эффективнее чем у 7го. так что по прямому назначению как противотанковый гранатомёт 29й на самом деле эффективнее.

The PSRL-1 beats this in range, versatility, sighting, accuracy, and lifespan.
Possibly but as it's designed to be backwards compatible with eastern bloc ammo I can't see how you would get better range and effect from a slightly different launcher. If you wanted a fair comparison between eastern vs. AirTronic ammo you would have to be specific about categories such as intended role.
@@jakedee4117 the range and weight of the two are very close these days, the lifetime is where the psrl comes out on top along with better sights and scope availability and it is milled out of tool steel and to tighter tolerances . Airtronic has another version that is composite and is very light with removable firing assembly.
