Hello, yes this is very Good variety 🙂 this year I grew different one. Video in the process 😉
beautiful, I like zucchini
Thank you, me too
Oh that’s great ! I would do the same at home, what is the size of your grow bag ? I don’t have any garden but I have 2 zucchini little plants
Hello, these were around 39litres (roughly 10gal).
That's great, time to plant them 🙂🌱
Oh my gosh, I absolutely love zucchini, it is such a versatile vegetable! I'm going to start growing them soon, as i'm in the middle of preparing beds for growing.
I'm about 4 months in, and they'll be ready in another 4-5 months. I'm living in Singapore, so it's hot and humid all year. They're covered with thin discarded carpet off-cuts until it's time.
May I ask what you do to deter pests and fungal afflictions, please?
Hello, thank you for sharing your zucchini growing plan, that's great you can grow plants all year round!
As for pests - I mostly deal with aphids and spider mites using neem oil. As a prevention I am growing more flowers to attract ladybugs as their larvae eat aphids. And more flowers also attract more pollinators for zucchinis.
As for fungal diseases - powdery mildew and downy mildew are most common here in middle Europe. Once it gets rainy for a week it is a miracle if the zucchinis don't get it. Then I just remove infected leaves and spray the plants with dilluted neem oil. The same management for alternaria leaf blight. But if you do your best to prevent fungal diseases and they are still causing your plants trouble, growing resistant varieties is the way to go.
Hope this helps, thank you very much for your feedback! 🙂
@@Liap, thank you very much for sharing!
I've just soaked about 60 garlic skins in around 70-80 litres of water, along with about 25g of loose tobacco. I'm going to let everything steep for a day before straining and transferring to 5 litre plastic bottles. I can then transfer to my 2.5 litre spray bottles to generously apply onto my plants.
I'm going to grate a little fresh turmeric root and add it to the water as well. Hopefully this will put off most of the pests, fungi and mould...fingers crossed!
@@temperatechimp love the home recipe, thank you for sharing it!
Good luck, fingers crossed! 🤞
what is your seed starting mix recipes❔
Most of the times it's either
1)Coco coir/peat moss +perlite (fertilizing seedlings)
2) the same but with compost (without the need of fertilizing seedlings)
@@Liap Thank you so much... ❤️🇧🇩
What are the nutrients should i give to zuchhini,
Hello, zucchini will appreciate any balanced fertilizer if You have soil poor in organic matter. You can also add some wood ash, bone meal or/and coffee grounds to the soil mix.
Try harvesting when the zucchini is about 8" long, before it swells up. The smaller ones are more dense and tender.
