I love the look of a tension setting. But not my absolute favorite.. still I'd get one in 925 silver with a tourmaline or amethyst..but not for an engagement ring. Mine is a pretty basic 4 prong round brilliant,but i love it. ❤

This setting does not look secure and also the sides of the stone can be damaged from hitting into things as they are not protected all round.

Maybe it's in my head but it just doesn't look secure at all. I'd be paranoid the stone would fall out.
