3:08 ! Caddyshack quote may be the funniest thing I've ever seen Slater do ! Epic ! I surfed with Kelly and Sean at the North Jetty in Ft. Pierce the day before a contest there when Kelly was like 12 or something ! Dude ....Kelly you burned me on a set wave in front of the third boardwalk on that day ! With interest .......I figure you owe me about an hour in your wave pool before I die ! So ya know .....I kinda got that going for me !
Ft Pierce could be the best surf spot in all of Florida.
@@maxamillion6958 I grew up as a Captiva island local .......so I spent 2-3 days a week on the east side anywhere from South Beach up to Melbourne depending on where the waves where best ! 90% of the time that meant the North Jetty on Hutchinson island in Ft.Pierce or Sebastian inlet ! Ft.Pierce on incoming and high tide and Sebastian /Melbourne on outgoing to Low tide ! Ft.Pierce felt like my second home back from the mid to late eighties up until @2005 ! That place used to be gnarly with beer drinking shot gun in the window longboard riding locals that ruled the line up ! If you showed respect they let you work your way into the line up ! Any drop ins or mouthyness from outsiders was dealt with ........harshly and immediately at best ! Localism sucked kinda ........but you would never see 250+ people fighting for the three main peaks there like you do now anytime it's 3' or bigger !
I surfed with this," scraggly looking guy,who walked on the water out to the line- up.I asked," hey lordy,can I do this too?" He said,$ ya gotta have faith&,( before he finished talking,) Oh lordy," I sank& had to be rescued by the lifeguards.I asked him," sorry I didn't let you finish saying what you were saying,so,go ahead & tell me"He said," Ya gotta have faith& know WHERE the ROCKS are".....

He is a class act at the NY Pro he literally signed everyone's autograph I always thought he was The Ego Man I was totally wrong, sometimes we think something of someone that we never met and then your proved wrong. When I was leaving walking down the beach this mother was at the end still signing,,there were 3 little girls who wanted his autograph no one was leting them get thru one was about to cry. So I told them come over here I'll get you thru pushed my way thru and he turned around and gave me a hey wait your turn I was shocked he spoke to me I was like no and froze like a little bitch but right after he gave the little girls their autograph he said you next and I got a pic with him really not even expecting it I felt like those little girls jajajaja dammmmm.
