Jeremy Jordan is impeccable technically and it's an incredible version for that reason but for me, what makes this the best, is that I believe him. That line wasn't just one line, it was his entire reason for singing in the first place. There always needs to be a reason to change to singing in a musical, and we know and believe his reason.
I really wish Jordan would get together with Tveit for a duet. They would be my ideal princes for Sondheim's "Into the Woods". They could have redeemed the movie which paled next to the Broadway version.

He always performs the roles he’s given with such sincerity and respect, whether he’s performing during a Broadway show or for a concert. Whenever I see or hear him perform, I love how he doesn’t just sing the songs, but acts them as well, and you could hear the emotions he’s conveying through his voice alone even if you can’t see him physically acting it.
