It's not that hard to have that speed in ur foot if you've been practicing from time ago. The hard thing is to coordinate in that speed all the fuckin things (bass, snare, plates...). He's one of the biggest metal drummers of all time, at least for me, because he has a fucking excellent coord and a fucking hell velocity! And also the tired he must be.. one between one milion!

Between 1998 and 2002 Joey was an extremely fast drummer. He was extremely driven to perform and I think being as small as he was helped him move quicker than other drummers.
