What an incredible gift to hear Ariel talk so passionately about his music and its origins. It is truly academic and spiritual without the over analytical overcast. The fact he is not as well as Glass, Riley and Reich is beyond me. His music is a fine and meaningful contribution to the world of music and art. Free from the shackles of modern structural music hegemony. Thank you to Matthew for taking the time to offer us insight of Kalma's music!

This is the best thing I've seen in ages. Thanks for the music and for sharing your thoughts with such honesty, I feel so inspired and humbled.

A bit upset that I will miss the opportunity to see your show with Robert Aiki in Vancouver. Hope you play in town again. Unless you play in Montreal within the next couple of weeks ;)

What is the name of the track played on tenor saxophone at 10:15 and on which album does it appear. I haven't found it on the album An Evolutionary Music. Thanks for your help

I'll try my best -*** not a professionnal translator! ***
There's a play between "naître - to be born" and "n'être - to only be"
      Sounds the same
      ----
      To be born
      From stars from another world
To see the blue dawn from a green sun
And the pale dawn flooded by a sun on the brink of another winter
To be born at infinity's silence
      To feel galaxies' wind
To change meaning", to change time
At the windows of another space
To be born at ice's reflections
To be only what is passing through one's head
To be only this passing moment
      -----
      * "Sens" can also means sense or direction.
