**Correction** It's been pointed out that the Creative Outlier Air does have volume control by long pressing the buttons. I'm not sure when this control was added but it didn't work on my original review unit. Just needed to point out this correction that the Outlier Air does indeed have volume control

Gamesky any chance you could start mentioning if each set of buds allow "stereo" calling or not? My bose only allow calls to be taken with the right bud, rendering the left one useless... After paying $250 I wasn't impressed to say the least... I dunno if this is a common occurrence with true wireless buds or if I just got the one set that does this... Anyway, Just thought it would be nice to add that if possible... Love your videos tho... Very detailed and unbiased... I've been binge-watching all of older videos... Keep it up and thanks for all the info

      Tevi or Sabbat E12 ULTRA???????!!!

  • @-13eNnY-
    @-13eNnY- Před 4 lety +5

I recently bought the Tevi and have been using them since Monday afternoon without charging. Reckon I still have 20+ hours of use. The sound is super clear and detailed. Don’t really need active noise canceling when you can just get lost in the music. Never needed more than 60% volume and I live in the city so unless you’re a construction worker or a train conductor... 🤷‍♂️. I’ve yet to see the earbud drop below 50% battery since 10 hours is pretty insane. Absolute killer value and highly recommend. Side note: I did replace the Tevi ear tip with spin-fit cp360 as the provided ones dug into the sides of my ear canals a bit when moving. Do this for all earbuds basically as spin-fit is the superior silicone ear tip.

Benny C Tevi or Sabbat E12 ULTRA!????

    • @-13eNnY-
      @-13eNnY- Před 4 lety +2

Michael BMW I’m not exactly an audiophile but they both have good audio. Bit more detail with the Tevi but the Sabbat had more bass which is better for workouts and such. The Tevi is getting an app by the end of the year so the equalizer might soon change that. Tevi has more battery which means you’re basically guaranteed to always have a charge. Never ran out on Sabbat but had to charge on a daily basis basically. Charge the Tevi once every 5 days or so. Tevi is waterproof so showering with them is a nice option. I find the Tevi to be more comfortable once you get the seal and angle right. Much lighter so it feels like you don’t have much there. Sabbat fills ears more which gives you a snug but noticeable feeling. Much rather prefer the Tevi case as it looks more sophisticated. I’m an undergrad business student so it incorporates well into my life. I’d go for the Tevi for all of the above reasons and the bargain price. Don’t particularly like the shiny look of Sabbat as they stand out a bit more. Tevi does have pretty short Bluetooth connection range and the occasional stutter every once and a while. Sabbat is fine. Just not much advantage to it unless you like the fit/look more or like more bass. I prefer clean, balanced sound as that’s what the artist intended it to sound like. They would’ve added bass if it was supposed to have more bass. The Tevi case isn’t very pocketable. Bit uncomfortable but doable. Feel Sabbat case too but it’s more like a phone in pocket feeling and less uncomfortable. Jacket pocket solves problem but not always going to have a jacket. Main advantage to Sabbat is that it has longer range. Lots of earbuds have longer range than Tevi tho. Its range is pretty short at like 20-30 feet with a wall or two. Keep in mind. I’m a little biased as the Tevi is my daily driver but I think my analysis is similar to what most people also think.

It doesn't use touch control like he mentioned in the VDO. There's button on top of the earbuds on each side and it DOES control everything. All you have to do is just customize them on the app. Mine are set like this; one tap on each side for play/pause. Double tap on the right for forward, double tap on the left for previous. Hold one second on the right for volume+, one second on the left for volume-. Both buds can answer/hang up phone calls.

One of the MOST overlooked considerations when rating and reviewing earbuds, is the music player you are using to play them. And to a smaller degree the device. I'm using a S10+ ceramic 1TB, and it's excellent!!! And I have tried soooooo many players, but have NEVER found a better or more powerful music player than PowerAMP. It's like $5 in the play store. The reason I bring this up is that PowerAMP has an EXTREMELY powerful equalizer and tone section. I have the Lypertech Tevi's, and if you add more bass through the equalizer and tone section, and adjust the high's and mid's down just a bit, these earbud's are AMAZING SOUNDING!!!!!!!! There is a free trial of PowerAMP, so try it before you buy it. But nothing makes these sound better. I guarantee it!

It seems to me like they raised the volume ceiling, giving them more punch...along with micro USB charging, the low max volume had been one of my gripes. Totally agree, I've heard so much about all these reviews complaining about micro USB. Honestly, what's so bad about it? I have accumulated tons of micro USB devices around my house over the years and there's always one hanging around an outlet. In fact, I only have 3 devices that use USB-C and it's such a pain looking for a cable for it since I only have 3 USB-C cables VS 20+ micro USB cables. I know a new technology will replace the old one eventually. But that doesn't mean the old one is total obsolete. There are some people who still use them.

And the Sabbat is pretty good, but the left earbud will fall off my left ear at times. Only the left, I chose the medium sized eartips since it sound the best but it doesn't seal very well, I didn't use the large since they're a bit uncomfortable for me.

This was opinion about the earbuds according to their sound quality first, features later.
Which one you would recommend to get considering everything? I'm asking this because you didn't cover mic quality in this. People think that mic quality is something they can ignore or be okay with while buying true wireless earbuds. But when you're listening to music n get a call and the mic quality is sub-par you realise you should have thought about the mic quality.
I was gonna pull the plug on sound core liberty 2 but extended my budget to get the echobuds now. For 30$ more they are an absolute steal.
Mic quality is great, anr, passthrough & balanced armatures.
