(Also you need to buy 3 electronic drum pads "Pintech" to get their electronic drum pad samples in songs and album). much respect for that green day sound on drums in this vid! No one hates it.
@@LylaTheLich you can still get big sound out of a 2 up 2 down stock kit, tuning is key, but you have to remember their tunes were first played in basements... But he revolutionized the sound of the band as they grew to arena level shows and is one of the most technically talented drummers of the modern era and was a sound guys dream bc he was a sound guy for years... Maybe an increased budget would help, but hey, no china
@@frenchbreadboi on a budget would be tough, two up, two down, small high snare as main, have a regular sized snare tuned phat as a side snare, could get away with single pedal, two crashes, ride, he was a paragon sabian guy but the xs20s arent too far off the recorded sound, no china... Coated tom heads can round out the tonality and depth of smaller toms to get the big tom sound he had
Quite expensive store in my opinion. With 2500 pounds ($3400), in my country you can buy a Mapex Saturn V, or a Pearl Reference, a DW Design, or even a SJC, a Zildjian A custom set pack, and some decent stands.

Ride is definitely wrong. Way too washy. 22" Ping Ride would be the closest to what he would use. Hi-Hat is also wrong, mastersounds are not his sound. Snare sound is too shallow. Need at least a 6.5" deep snare. Other than that, seems ok. I am a tough critic.
