I love mine, every time I listen I'm ecstatic. They're a lot more efficient than you'd guess, as long as the amp has gobs of current on reserve you'll be fine. I have the ivory/walnut and they're stunning. Clean, clear, sweet, holographic, deep powerful bass and gigantic soundstage. Not at all analytical. People saying they're bright aren't matching the equipment correctly. Mine are replacing some 25 year old Thiels, I'll probably have these for the rest of my life!

All your videos look like they're from the 90s.. you really need to fix the decor
Decor and such is personal opinion. Looking at the wood trim around windows and such I would guess the house to have been built in the early 2000s. When you have trim like that you sometimes have to go with decor that matches to keep flow unless you redo all the trim and such. Just my opinion though as is his choices in decor and yours.
AP if you ever move out of your mother's basement you can decorate your one BR apartment how you choose. I know you were born in the 90s and have nightmares about all the bullying you endured so I understand why you are triggered by anything that even remotely reminds you of that time in your life.
