Oh, my amazing lidah... B.A.P were and still today are one of my ults group. They debuted almost simultaneously with EXO in 2012, they had crazy potential (Yongguk was the heart and the soul of B.A.P's music), unfortunately they were in the hands of a shameful agency (TShit). All the boys suffered a lot because of TS, they were all special guys who would have deserved much more. I have overcome many dark moments thanks to B.A.P's music and they will always have a special place in my heart. Yongguk is sooooo different in real life from what you see in theese MVs: he's so sweet, shy, soft, he has a crazy sensitivity. He never made music to please the audience, he speaks to us through music and that’s why his fans as well as loving him, they appreciate him greatly.
Hikikomori is a japanese word and it's referred to a person who's in total withdrawal from society and seeking extreme degrees of social isolation and confinement.
I hope you will listen more from our precious lidah (once a BABY, forever a BABY), especially "4:44 AM", my all-time favourite.

Yongguk has a very special place in my heart, his music helped me through a dark point in my life a few years ago following a family tragedy. He just has so much feeling put into all his music, especially Hikiomori, it's just absolutely insane. He's got my support until the end ❤

His former group B.A.P were among the best in the industry during their peak, each member was a true specialist in their craft and their music and videos were out of this world. I think you would really love BAP's 1004, One Shot, Skydive and Young Wild and Free!

I love bang yongguk so much and was pleasantly surprised by the fact that you reacted to him. I only know you from your ateez ranking but i really hope there will be more yongguk reactions. There are no words to describe how much i love him, honestly. He was a former idol and leader of a kpop group called B.A.P (best absolute perfect). the group was my absolute favourite but sadly they were severely mistreated by their company and managed to win a lawsuit. resignations happened soon after. Most of the members are now focusing on their solo activities while maintaining their friendship. Maybe you’d want to check the others out too but don’t expect something similar from them.

If you love traditional Asian music combined with contemporary, you should checkout EXO Lay's solo music, esp Lit (the music video is amazing), Flying Asparas (no mv but the dance practice is one of the most amazing in all of kpop) and Veil.
Yongguk is South Korean, originally in a group called B.A.P. as mentioned by other commenters. I have only just begun delving into them myself but they were incredible. However, as mentioned, they had a terrible agency, Yongguk himself had a long hiatus due to anxiety disorder and a former member of the group has done time for sexual assault. So the remaining members from the group, including Youngguk have really experienced the worst aspects of the kpop industry. They are all moving forward, establishing themselves as solo artists and their fans have stuck by them throughout. I don't know Yongguk well as an artist yet but he seems to be working through his pain through his music as artists must do.
B.A.P is absolutely worth checking out. Most viewers/fans tend to be fine supporting remaining members of kpop groups while distancing the members involved in crimes and scandals. Which you will come across if you continue along with groups like EXO (former member from 10 yrs ago serving time for rape) or BigBang and several other groups who had former members involved in a very publicized criminal scandal involving drug and sex trafficking. Unfortunately not all idols handle fame well and they go down very wrong paths. But Yongguk, the remaining members of B.A.P, EXO, BigBang and others have proven themselves to be good people and should not be tarnished for the actions of their former members. B.A.P's fans have been through a lot over the years and I know they will appreciate any support of the group's work and the solo work of the remaining members. Had things gone differently for B.A.P, they might have been where BTS is now.
