Apparently moments like these do nothing for LeBron's legacy since he didn't deliver a championship. But they meant everything to fans who had heard nothing but questions about his jump shot, especially in the clutch.

I was just thinking the same thing. The only thing people remember from 2011 is Lebron choking in the Finals. But up until that point he was having a monster playoffs. In the next round vs. the Bulls he locked down Rose and then hit the game winning shot to win that series.

Quinlan Wallace but then LeBron got outscored by a bench player in the 2011 Finals when it actually mattered this year. Where was the 2nd place in DPOY?
but but but then LeBron was outplayed by a role player 3 straight games (3-4-5) in the 2014 Finals when it actually mattered. Where was the 4x MVP?
the only franchise player in history to get showed up by 2 role players in the Finals during his prime
youtube footage - "Leonard exposes LeBron defense"
In the Last 3 games (3-4-5) of 2014 Finals
      - Lebron allowed 13 ppg Kawhi Leonard to average 23.7 ppg on 69% in Games 3-4-5 of Finals - much more efficient than Lebron's 27 ppg on 55% in those 3 games (14% FG difference)
      - Lebron also got out rebounded by Leonard 9.3 rpg to 7.7 rpg in those 3 games
      - Leonard also outstole Lebron in those 3 games 2.0 spg to 1.7 spg
      - Leonard also outblocked Lebron in those 3 games 2.0 bpg to 0.7 bpg
      - LeBron also had more than twice as many turnovers as Leonard (3.7 to 1.7)
In those last 3 games, Leonard outrebounded, outblocked, outstole Lebron, scored MUCH more efficiently (14% FG higher than Lebron) and Lebron committed more than twice as many turnovers.
In Game 5 Lebron had 1 FG in the 2nd quarter (2:30 mark) to bring the Heat within 5, and never scored again until the Spurs were up 21 with 4:40 left in the 3rd - definition of stat padding and not delivering when it mattered. In the 4 combined Heat losses, Lebron scored 48% of his points when the Spurs were up 15+. Definitely not delivering the numbers when he needed to.
Lebron's FG% in 2012 (47%) and 2013 (45%) when he won the NBA Finals were lower than his FG% in 2011 (48%) and 2014 (57%), so pointing at Lebron's high FG% while taking less shots doesn't prove that he was helping his team, unlike Jordan. LeBron only won the NBA Finals in 2012 and 2013 taking 21+ shots a game, not taking 15 and 18 shots a game like in 2011 and 2014.
What top 10 player has ever got outscored by a bench player in the Finals and then outplayed 3 straight games in another Finals by a role player? I am waiting....
LeBron = regular season player with meaningless regular season accomplishments, and more failures when it matters than successes

Clutch means u come through for the team when everything is on the line, when it's now or never not when you have at least another three games to play. So he took a shot and it went in, i doubt he'd take that shot if this was game seven nba finals thats why he choked against dallas b/c that was reall pressure and he couldn't handle it i think this yeear heat win

But to me, and I think in the back of every real Heat fan's mind, it seemed to me as if this was the Heat's finals last year. You can just see the passion in the teams eyes, especially wade and lebron, when they realized they were winning this game and they had FINALLY gotten past the Celtics, the team they were trying to become. That united team LeBron, Wade and Bosh had been searching for for so many years. They found it.
