Kawhi took a team friendly deal to try to resign guys and keep them together. PG said himself he’s not a number 1 option and always said Kawhi was but all of a sudden he wants max money but in a complimentary role. PG came up small mentally in the bubble, played well in 2021 when Kawhi tore his acl, lost to Minny in 2022 in the play-in and caught COVID and was out for the next game, bone bruise in 2023 and was a no-show outside of 1 game in the 2024 playoffs. What part of that track record warranted max money?? The Clippers organization gave PG everything he wanted so the friend needs to shut up imho. He wanted Russ, wall, harden, wanted less ball handling responsibilities, wanted more touches, etc.

Paul George is a 2k specialty build. In real life he peaked with Indiana Pacers in that series with Lebrons team under Vogel. He won't play more than 55 games every season and he will not exist in playoffs. Same story different team. As for the Clippers, they will always suck.

As a clipper fan I say good riddance. George is one of the softest players I've ever seen. When he's needed most he won't show up. When nothing is expected from the team he will play very good. He never makes clutch shots. He don't care if he wins or he loses. He has zero competitive drive. The thing is he has the talent.
