Completely agree. 1999-2000 was the peak in my opinion. Had some cash in my pocket and lots of freedom. So many good people that enjoyed this music with me, so many good memories. I would be lying to say that when I hear this sort of stuff I don't get a little nostalgic for that era. Chicago was fun in this era.

Couldn't agree more. It's heartbreaking at the crap that gets pushed as "House" today. No soul, No grooviness. House is supposed to make you move at least one part of your body when you hear it, even if you can't help it. Lol. Supposed to make you want to hug everyone and not slam dance or footwork like you're dancing to hardstyle or something.

+Edward Smithson I totally agree. it was the best of all worlds. techy, repetitive, super Discoy (strings galore), with just the right amount of vocals. 2006 is when it got all electro and lame. thankfully, it's back again!
+DiscoMatty McNiceness 2006 was the first year I went out and that extreme electro shit was the worst music ever. Maybe 2-4 good tracks and that is all. Funny how the "in" music has lasted for a year tops (if that) since then where this stuff, techno and trance lasted years. Says a lot about how good the quality is now.
