@bytemevv-4616 was kind of enough to share his creation with me. Not an official Raid character, but neither was Kalvalax at first. Byteme made a new Mythical Void Champion and a new 9 piece Gear Set.

He looks like a complete A hole who would completely ruin your Raid Career. Straight dig bick energy out of this champion. What skills do you think he should have? Byteme came out with a banger champion! Love his art and his ideas here.
to be fair demonspawn do need an actual mythical not a 4+ month end game grind.

I'll start by saying this is awesome art and very much in the keeping of the dark fantasy theme in Raid. I'll start with the aesthetics of the champ. Both forms look amazing, however, the first and second forms do not look much different from each other. If you examine all the mythicals in Raid, then you'll see that the base form and the alt form have a massive change in appearance when swapping between them. I would suggest changing the base form somewhat so when he flips forms the difference has far more impact.
The base mythical form is startling in itself and you want that transformation to the alt form to have even greater impact on conversion. I would suggest toning down the base form to have that kapow! hit on the senses. Perhaps the helmet doesn't have the side horns for instance. The colour is more ash than deep black, or his eyes don't glow but are black pits, or all of the above as examples. The change in the central armour is very good but not enough in itself at first glance to be noticeable, as the wings obviously grab your initial attention and the colour is the same. Perhaps in the base form this is more of a deep yellow fire, before turning angry red in the alt form as colour changes also draw the attention massively. Both these forms would be sick as stand alone champs in the game as legendries. I love them both, but I personally don't think they are different enough to make me go that form is sick, but this form blows me away because they are so similar in appearance. It's this form is sick, Oh! Now he has wings too. Remember, this is a mythical, we want them to be badass in base form and have that Oh my God! moment on transformation. Just my opinion.
The set... I like the concept a great deal, especially empowering them. In fact I love the concept so much I proposed it about a year or so ago maybe slightly more before mythical champs were introduced whenever that was anyway to @Saphirra at @HHgaming, but I did not get any direct reply. I think he made a passing remark in a video about it and how it would accelerate power creep and make old sets irrelevant. I tried to contact him again saying that you would add it to current sets too, but still no reply and then mythicals were announced shortly after. I guess mythical champs weren't enough power creep, or blessing rebalance, or even champs like Armanz for that matter lol.
I like the balance of your set though, except I personally, would change the 6 and 9 piece around and make the hp irresistible and/or unblockable at 6 pieces. Then you could possibly make the ignore def a full 35% at 9. It is a set that would have value in the game. We need a hp burn set. If you want to keep it the way it is, then perhaps add the chance to activate 1 or all hp burns at 9 piece too. The 3 turn hp burn is far weaker than 32% ignore def and I doubt anyone would bother going to 9 just to add 1 more tick. I certainly wouldn't when I could use 3 pieces of merciless, supersonic, or slayer and get more value, or one of the 2 piece filler sets and gain something else. It would be a great set for Rathalos though. He can bring his own hp burn along with him lol.
Those are my initial thoughts. I say again. The art is fantastic, and with just a few modifications imo to make both forms unique enough to have a punch in your face, visceral reaction to both forms, I would advocate for it in the game 100% Well done!

@@mrburritoslayerRSLI always try to look at things with a constructive critical eye, so I'm glad you liked some of what I said here. The art is truly outstanding, and the concept of the enhancements to artefacts and accessories is a very valid one. The type of set proposed is much needed and is not too op. I don't imagine that I was the only one to think of gear enhancements, nor in all probability, the first to do so either. The scaling will have to be done right, and no matter how it is done, it will not close the gap between the haves and have nots, as the haves will just Whale out to maximize their already op gear anyway, but it will allow those at the bottom to achieve progression much faster.
I think the only way it could have some equalising quality is if it is linked to champ power too. In other words, there is a upper cap, so empowered champs for instance do not receive as much or any gear power upgrades, but is that a possibility? I don't know but it was part of my proposal to @Saph way back when along with some other ideas too, but not the hp burn set that @bytemevv-4616 proposed. I was talking about the idea of doing it to all current sets at the time not a new one, so that's all his.
However, I don't really mind. Saph could have been busy, or he he may not have wanted to communicate. It really doesn't matter either way. I communicated my thoughts and that is always enough for me.
Ego is the province of those who are uncomfortable in their own skin, or insecure about their own abilities I always say. Life is too short to dwell on things you cannot change, or have any control over. All you can do is adjust to reality as it presents itself, accept it, or you are constantly left with hurt feelings/pride and that leads to frustration, anger, or self doubt and depression. It leaves you stuck in the past with no way towards the future. But the bugger didn't reply to me! Why didn't he reply to me? Am I just that insignificant? 🤣🤣🤣
@@Dharin. LOL, all good points. I dont think anyone is insignificant. I'm not there, but maybe when you get big, you lack the time or energy to reply to everyone? But then again, ASH is like the 2nd biggest Raid Channel I think and he still replies to me and to a lot of people. so Idk. Ill always reply though. Even if it takes a while to.
@@mrburritoslayerRSL lol, I know, and I was only having a laugh at the end of a long post, as I really don't take myself seriously and believe that every post needs an answer, or the CC is an A-hole. I understand that for a CC like Saph, he gets up to a couple hundred posts so he can't reply to everyone, or he may be less communicative than someone like Ash who really loves to converse with his audience and is an obvious extrovert. Saph may find it difficult, or just simply doesn't have the time with everything else he has to do with the website and the optimiser, his own play time etc. You always reply and that's who you are and people do appreciate that you take the time to do so. Lets see when you make 200k subs and hundreds of posts per vid if you continue to write back to everyone

It makes no sense there isn't an HP Burn set already. I guess it would be hard to balance though.. if you compare it to Frost and Toxic, a 9 piece Burn would be 25% when attacked/attacking to place HP Burn for 1 turn. Maybe a secondary effect like "Corruption" or "Contagion" that spreads debuffs when attacked/attacking. Anti-Blessing would be OP and require everyone in PvP to wear it I think.
Is there an HP burn set? Theres too many sets in the game lol.
I do like the name of Corruption or Contagion and it has such a fitting effect.
And yeah very OP, it would shake up the meta and maybe even negate the power of blessings. May not go well with Krakens or Plarium’s bottom line. Thanks Sam! For sharing your thoughts

6 piece slayer ignores 30% defense
That is true, is it on AOE moves only? I know they changed it recently, but I didnt keep up with how.
2x, Hp burn is nice on the set which could be added to any random champion to beat say frozen spider in Cursed City.
4x, Though I'm thinking more like 3 turns immune to turn meter control as 1 Armanz con/can, solo 4 champions in arena which is quite broken. It's ok just bring the freeze team in they still one get a turn but wait there's more! (or rather nerf Armanz)
6x, auto dispel 1 debuff when it's this champions turn including sheep. Sheep spam control.
I like the way Slayer and similar sets have 1-9 and this set should be same to beef up pve content stats as the 4x & 6x handles pvp balancing issues across the board on any champion someone actually has.

I have access to the people that run and manage the Official CC's for raid, but a direct line to the big heads at Plarium that make decisions, no. Byteme has taken the initiative to inform the other CCs though about this idea. I think its really good for the community even if these concepts are brought to light. Especially the gear set. I can pitch the idea to the OCC managers, but I doubt it would get far
