  • In a special handoff episode of #KneadingDough, Mav Carter sits down with former NFL wide receiver Andrew Hawkins to talk money in sports, athlete empowerment, and the lack of productive conversations about finances. Hawk takes over the hosting chair as Mav explains what it was like in the early days building LeBron's brand, what he picked up at his time at Nike, and the difference between making money & building value. Definitely don't want to miss this episode of #KneadingDough, presented by @Chase.

I saw an interview where Bron said, when he got into the league that people were trying to push his friends out and he didn't like it. I like the fact that his friends always wanted to work and not be free loaders. Also, Bron saw something in each one of them. Maverick and Randy he knew from childhood and met Rich later.

Feels good to see a brother have connections and someone to financially back their ideas. We have to use what we have because banks or trying get into the good ole boy club no matter what he did would not have worked. I’m glad LBJ didn’t follow the rest of the top players and trust others to manage his major moves. He empowered his closest friends that’s what they do. Maverick’s a smart man that loves to learn.
