I Visit Man United’s LEGENDARY Old Training Ground THE CLIFF 🤩

  • After the incredible 99 documentary was released on Prime Video I thought I'd check out where they filmed the interviews with Manchester United legends such as Paul Scholes, Peter Schmeichel, Dwight Yorke & so on. You've got to be in awe when stepping foot into the facility where Sir Alex Ferguson masterminded the Treble and the Busy Babes would also train. Filming is a no-go inside The Cliff Training Ground so I've included some old footage from previously released Man United VHS tapes. All of that footage belongs to the respective owners, but I felt it was necessary to include in order to set the scene for United fans and to give a glimpse inside this legendary training facility. Manchester United moved to Carrington in 2000 but still own The Cliff. The first team, youth team and academy might now be based at the Trafford Training Centre in Carrington, but the club still has the The Cliff open for younger footballers, charitable events & so on... Contrary to what the newspapers want you to believe - this is NOT a "crumbling relic" neglected and abandoned. For a training ground not used by the first team for 24 years, it's a piece of history, well preserved and the people running The Cliff deserve the upmost credit. I know I've pushed it a bit with making this video but I feel it's something every United fan will LOVE. The people at The Cliff were incredibly friendly and welcoming (even offered me a drink and some food haha) so if the club ever sees this 👉🏽 You've got some great staff there and I'd love for one day, United to open this up for fans to explore, even if it's only on a temporary basis. THANK YOU and BRING ON SATURDAY 🏆

So I fought through a bush to what I thought was Littleton Road but it was actually Broughton Road playing fields 🌳🤣 WE WILL BE BACK… Hope you enjoyed this one peeps 👉🏾 would love for United to open this up and offer public tours for more reds to enjoy 🥳👍🏾 Don’t believe what you read in the papers, everywhere open to the public is in well maintained condition and I LOVE the fact the old building has been preserved to retain that feel of what was an incredible time for Manchester United ❤️⚽️

Imagine the footballing legends who have walked through that main entrance Ry, United and visitors playing for their A and B teams. Used to spend loads of time there in the 70’s when you could just watch, mingle and chat with your idols never an issue! Cadge the odd shirt here and there it was a wonderful place. Then early 90’s it changed when they stopped fans coming in, and put the barriers up between fans and players. Never understood that

    It must be cold
for Manchester United fans bow a day's you have been in City's shadows for so long now lol.
    Now, I'm getting down to
nuts & bolts what you need to understand is the way the world his heading
& the way it is heading
Stadium wise, it is no longer good enough
for clubs to just have a stadium in & of itself
it needs to offer a massive mach day experience like
    Spurs do &
Manchester City does on a lesser scale, which is all
part of what fans expect now as football has got more & more expensive.
    Fans now expect
    lots & lots of different
food live music, different music stages to cater for different musical tastes
if you look at Spurs' new
stadium they have a variety of football , drink
    & two sound stages
    then look at
    Old Trafford
    & Stamford Bridge
you tell me what is better
    Old Trafford ,
    Stamford Bridge or
    Spurs new stadium ?
    even Arsenal's
    Emirates Stadium
    needs a little bit of
    T.L.C & it was built
    in 2006.
