When I wrote this song, it was coming off of a big hit song I wrote in 95', "Freak Like Me" by Adina Howard that changed the game! "Reality" was actually supposed to go to TLC, but they broke up at the time. But Elusion did their thing, the company dropped the ball on this one, should of been a No.1 hit! Shout out to

I honestly didn't figure it out until the end of the video, when I first saw it decades ago. I actually believe we achieved CGI and camera effects so effectively well in 1997 that it was just one woman spliced into a mirror image of herself convincingly. I still bought their CD.

THIS is how you know a song is meant to stand the test of time. i remember loving this video and being intrigued by the group. i even recorded the video on VHS back in 97/98.
The video has aged beautifully and doesn’t look dated in any way.
i have never forgotten this song and for 21 years, i would find myself singing it to myself.
Like today, i was watching a true crime documentary when this song randomly came to mind and i was compelled to look up the video.
i don’t know what these kids are doing today, but i doubt that their music will
be remembered as fondly in 15-20 years.
