Seeing them in person is an emotional experience. Music is supposed to evoke emotion and Band-Maid is the best band I have ever seen live or heard that does just that.
This is becoming a legendary performance, a real banger in the best tradition, and it really swings too. The duet is one of the best things I've seen in decades. I saw them do this live a few days later, and they just killed it.
Band-Maid has such a positive vibe. Who else could do a song called "Hate?" featuring a refrain of "I hate you, I hate you, I hate you!" so cheerfully and with such a happy feeling to it? Somehow they seem to be able to add a much needed "Lightness" to Heavy Metal that no one else seems capable of doing. They seem to be the happiest heavy metal band on the planet and we love watching them do it.
This is actually a rip of the live HULU broadcast stream, not a fancam. The Hulu audio was quite good that day and the video producer did a pretty decent job capturing their live performance, almost as if they had a clue about the band and at least some of the songs! 😀
One of the rare songs that Saiki wrote the lyrics for. They also introduced the guitar battle for this song here that they keep for much of this leg of the US Tour.
Saiki is much more direct than Miku. No fancy poetry, no allusions, and in this song, she's just *brutal:* Enough of this. Shut up. Don't tell me what to do. Your words, your voice, your gestures. I hate every single one of them. Every time I touch you, I get more and more frustrated. Everything doesn't fit. Who do you think you are? I never want to see your face again. Go away. You've done enough. You don't mean anything to me anymore. You're nothing. You're nothing. You're nothing. You're nothing. It's become ironic that Saiki's nickname is 'The Ice Queen' , yes it does seem that fits her normal demeanor but onstage she has blossomed in so many different ways over the last few years. I know I shouldn't say this but she has the sexiest laugh.

The Maids are absolutely fantastic live. You’re right about lead singer Saiki, she is graceful and prowls the stage with confidence and lots of charisma. All of them are amazing. As good as these CZcams performances are, they do no justice as how good they sound seeing them in person.
My favorite Kanami/MISA moments are when Kanami, who is 7" shorter than MISA, charges her and challenges her to a duel. (BTW, Mincho means "Shorty." Still, Kanami is an inch taller than tiny Miku.)

Dice/Hate has been combined with a great Akane drum fill that is unique along with the bass and guitar battle. The fancams sound decent.

I think that nick name is a bum rap, but that's just me. I prefer Sai Chan. You can say it, her laugh is sexy.😮
