    in the past i installed 4 different windows., all great points you have. i use angle iron from old bed frames bolted down the sides then screw into your inside window frame, works very well and gives a great stiffing to the panels! thank so much for the great vids. ! ... happy trails always...

    It's always a good idea to see when 2x6's might be more appropriate. They don't really cost much more.

    Great tips thank you! I too was wanting to do used windows, but all of the used ones i could find here the demo crew had cut off the flanges. I didnt want to have to deal with trying to install them without flanges. New double pane windows much easier and relatively cheap.

    Because I'm 6'4" 😄. Man wouldn't that be nice. Oh mam that duct tape residue, maybe you can wipe it off with that goop off stuff

      The Citystead I am actually 5’8” and 3/4’s but a quarter to half inch taller than Heather so that’s all that matters. Took us about a decade before she would finally accept it!😄

    I would have thought used windows would be cheaper. You are probably better off with newer window just for it efficiency.
