- 2024 Topps Series 2 had a way better checklist then Series 1, so we figured we'd up the ante and rip 2 hobby boxes for a shot at some autos or the Jackson Holiday SSP!

Congratulations on the SP Autograph and Sandy Mojo Refractor! I have seen lots of nice cards pulled from all kinds of boxes. I have pulled ZERO SSP's. Nothing in multiple Hobby or Retail. The only boxes I haven't purchased are Jumbo Hobby. Series 2 has been a huge let down. I got 3 George Bush First Pitch cards, no one else. I can't find Hangers in stores and when I get them online, they are duds. I opened over 1/2 case of Fanatics Blasters and got basic parallels and 13 cards so miscut they have a white border on the top and bottom! I hope my pre-order Chrome is better! I am seriously due some redemption from Topps!
We usually don’t open too much Topps Series stuff because it’s so hard to hit stuff. We got very lucky with the Julio auto but we do have some monster boxes otw and then will transition over to Chrome. We can not wait for Chrome even though they’ve raised the price again it looks like on blasters and monster boxes 🤬
@CardiacPulls I understand the price increases for new product, because everything costs more now, but they also made the set bigger, meaning you have to buy even more to build a set.
@@jpacrylicstudio145 gotcha…just sucks to see product go up in price because it makes it even harder to justify opening boxes rather then just buying singles 😂
The relic card is a game worn jersey swatch, not a jersey bought and cut up. The statement on the back simply states that they aren't going to the trouble of printing on the card a specific game or date that the player wore it. If you buy a Jumbo Hobby box, you get a fake/manufactured relic in the form of the Silver Slugger card.
I always thought on the back of the card it would state “this jersey was game worn or player worn” but when it says it’s from no specific game or date, it pretty much means they could of worn it for a second and taken it off for it to be “player worn” lol but appreciate the correction!
