I remember buying Immortal Techniques album when I was a freshman in highschool in 2001; I'm 37 now. I never thought I'd see him on the same track as Method Man and Jadakiss. It took over 20 years for people to catch up with Immortal.

Nobody gonna mention Inspectah Deck on the hook? One of the most underrated Wu MC’s. The Rebel INS.
It was a one-minute process for me.
1. recognized it, couldn't remember who it was they copied it from.
2. Remembered who they "copied it" from.
3. Aww shit, that's HIM.

@@2high4eso what do I mean… exactly what I said. He’s got mad legendary verses, but his solo career never received the recognition it should have. Uncontrolled Substance wasn’t even the same album that was originally recorded… due to the fact the original was lost when Rza’s basement studio was flooded. Even Deck said it changed the whole sound of the album, because the Rza’s beat style changed from the gritty early/mid 90’s style. That album was supposed to be released in 97, but didn’t get released until 99 because he had to redo the whole album. Meth himself in an interview said Deck was the most underrated MC of the Wu. You don’t agree, that’s your right… but he didn’t get mentioned on this track at all. I never said he didn’t kill most of his verses, but a musician’s critical success isn’t based off verses, and features alone. I’m not taking anything away from him as an MC… I personally think he’s dope, but he missed out on the golden era, and grimy style the Wu started from. Sorry, but mentioning 1 verse that the whole Hip-hop world knows is sick…. Doesn’t disprove my point.
