I seriously laughed out LOUD on the "19 Yellow Ledbetters". Las time I saw Steve Miller he had Jonny Lang open for him. After Steve played 3 hits, NOT including this track, he invited Lang out on stage and they closed the last 2 hours of show just KILLING it!!! At some point in that fog of perfect rock jamming, they tore into this one. Mindblowing.
Thanks for putting this one up Mr Lendt! Your insight and instruction on all these tracks are always so congruent with the original "feel" of the songs.

Laughed out loud with Yellow Ledbetter as well. Just stumbled onto your channel recently, Ryan. I've like and subscribed. Thank you for this lesson - saw a few other version of this lesson and this one is the most complete (with the low E before the power B Chord... yes, I hear it!).

3/7/22. When I was in grammar school, this kid thought he was so cool singing to the girls Steve Miller’s “The Joker”.He’d go up to the girls and sing “ some people call me the space cowboy,” and I would watch him thinking “can you pick up girls this way?” Take care, Ryan.

Great! But for some reason I get the impression that maybe they detune the low E to D. That's the way I do it. Works either way but give it a shot. 😉

    Yay Ruthie! :)
Any amount of Yellow Ledbetters is the best amount of Yellow Ledbetters, with the sole exception of no Yellow Ledbetters. No Yellow Ledbetters is not the best amount of Yellow Ledbetters.

if one were negative in the yellow ledbetter balance, then at least one would have to produce an amount to get back to zero.

Ryan I need your help man.
I played only on my classical guitar I had since I was a kid but now I have a new acoustic guitar and it's so hard!!
My finger are hurting and playing regular open chords are impossible now because of my stubby fingers...
I find it easier to play like I want on the classical but the acoustic is a different beast when I play it properly.
Do you have any tips for me??
