I am approaching 12k herbiboar searches, with no pet.
Some interesting detail you might like. It is actually optimal to hunt herbiboar on mobile. The mobile client has its own tracking plugin that highlights the trail, and it only highlights the correct searchable whenever there is a possible fork. Be careful with where you tap though, there is no way to hide the zygomite pick option.
On the Petcord, the record dry streak for the pet is 43k or so before getting the pet, that is the highest kc I know of.

Hey @mrnosleeposrs, something I learned to stay at herbiboar much longer was to use the tool leprechaun to note the herbs once the sack fills. Allows you too stay much much longer. Just figured if you go hunting again, thank for the videos!

Fast forward to now I hardly play anymore (maybe that will change if a new skill comes out and I need to max again) but I am amazed that you still have the spark to continue this type of content and I am always glad to see a new upload to watch when I sit down and eat dinner :)

I know some iron who got 200m hunter exp thru herbi. Pretty sure he was around 70k kc.
For anybody worrying about the excess guam leafs, bring swamp tar and turn them into guam tar, costs very little and takes almost no inventory space to squeeze in a little more herblore xp without worrying about them, can increase overall efficiency xp/hr wise by reducing banking.

There’s a runelite plugin called better herbi hunting or something like that, and it leads you to the correct muddy patch or other thing to inspect

herbi pet being 1/6,500 at average rate of 60 herbiboar per hour takes average of 108 hours to get the pet if you get it on drop rate
Runelite also let's you zoom out on your minimap as well!

I did this on mobile after the update.. runelite isn’t needed at all as the mechanics are the exact same without runelite. You did a whole lot of extra clicking around the map. Big + also is on mobile you can zoom out your minimap so you just click the end tile of each section of path it takes you on and click the highlighted blue tile at the end each time then on herby. Im sure runelite has a plug-in to zoom out minimap but I’m mobile only so idk. I’ve met someone had like 30k herbi runs sure someone has more but goddam lol
