Watching all these videos makes me really nostalgic for this game mode. Sooooo addicting. You knew you were in trouble when you came across a Hades player with all or some Olympus armor and using hammer or Ares with Call to Arms and hammers.....or Zues with reckoning and magic refill when health was low. These were my top 10 weapons: 1. Godly Lance of Poseidon 2. Hammer of Helios (beware a team with those. ha) 3. Godly Spear of Hades 4. Godly Hammer of Ares 5. Gladiator Guantlets 6. Gladiator Spear 7. Spear of Destiny 8. Godly Maul of Poseidon 9. Godly Maul of Hades 10. Cerebus Sword
PhantomGRE Yeah...no. Online is just a who can use hammer better competition and using the poor technology in the game to force you into an infinite loop. If you played this game when it first came out and everything was fresh, it was fun. Now we have everyone looping people into inescapable hammer combos and swapping between Ares and Zeus and either gearing to kill you in two hits or spamming the every living fuck out of Zeus' magic. And because of all the busted ass tech in this game, if you don't have your L2 you're dead if you get hit once.
I hate that they ditched the fixed cinematic camera angle for over-the-shoulder camera in the latest game. I feel like the over-the-shoulder camera would affect multiplayer even more than single player.
My top 10 would probably be: 10: gladiator spear 9: hammer of odysseus 8: hyperion spear 7: blade of zeus 6: gladiator gauntlets 5: hammer of helios 4: cestus of zeus 3: blade of olympus 2: spear of achilles 1: spear of destiny
i always felt that gladiator sword had a really good secondary attack break armor because you can move it to all places in the air. If just this weapon had a better version with same special attacks would be good.
