In Sahih Al-Bukhari, the Prophet (sas) bore witness to the superiority of Umar ibn Al-Khattab in his deen, saying: "While I was sleeping, I saw the people being presented to me. Each of them was wearing a shirt. Some reached to their breast and some reached farther than that. Then Umar was shown to me with his shirt reaching all the way to the ground." They asked: 'How do you interpret it, Allah's Messenger?' He said: 'Ad-deen (practice)'"

Please can this be clarified: Did Umar go to Fatima's house immediately after the prophets death to ask for Bayyat from Ali? What happened when he got there? I need to clear this up please.

in hadith it was narrated: 1. he fled 2 wars leaving behind our beloved prophet in danger 2. He caused the death of Fatima Zahra. etc......... Please comment with reference not like fairy tale story telling.

it's very sad to read all these kinds of comments. i don't want to jugde anyone who is wrong or right. am as muslim want live in peace and i want we all bro and sis lives in peace and should not divide the umma of prophet muhammad(saww). prophet prayed every night late for his ummah but wht we giving back him. i guess nth. we all love prophet so we should do wht he want and allah want. plz don't mine with my opinion
Believe it or not, I've literally had Sunnis tell me that since they believe 'Umar would have been the next Prophet if not for the fact that Muhammad (saws) was the last Prophet, whatever Allah and the Prophet ruled as halal can be made haram by 'Umar during his Caliphate, and it's done by the will of Allah (astaghfirullah!). I've had them admit that the Prophet and the Qur'an allowed mut'a, but since 'Umar 'adheres to the Sunnah,' we must follow HIS ruling of 'turning mut'a into prostitution'!!
We are not even suppose to make fun of those who worship idols. The Shia may say ( I am not sure all of them say this) some things we find offensive but they say their Salat just like us to Allaah. Plus the whole world is against us if we start fighting amongst ourselves that would not be good. Alhamduliah we were born into Sunni families.

none of these comments are right, every bit is so wrong before you comment on something look up on the hadiths of the the messenger of allah (peace be upon him) if you are a believer. ABU BAKR (RA) and UMAR IBN KHATTAB (RA) are one of the two favourite companions of the prophet of allah (peace be upon him). you can not be a muslim if you mock and hate the companions of the prophet of allah they were the best people to walk on the face of the earth after the ambiya (AS)
the person who killed the grandson of the holy prophet (saww) - hazrath mushin (as)
attacked the house of bibi fatima al zahra (as) ................ran away from ohud in fear of life
worshipped dates and idols
buried his infant daughters alive
where he would be ...? - obviously in hell - the deepest parts of the hell
So ali ra married his daughter, flesh and blood of fatima ra to their worst enemy? Shia has no sense at all.
look at all these filthy comments. I suppose they are still sore that their forefathers' persian empire were destroyed by umar ra. May Allah SWT give us the strength to repeat what he did by conquering the 2nd persian empire (iran) and liberate Palestine from the jews.

Cont. Because it was a shame to have a daughter. But the family of the prophet and Abu Talib were worshipers of Allah since the beginning andnever bowed down to a idol. Imam Ali was the first to accept Islam and the prophet said whoever accepts it first well be the heir of the message of Islam. Imam Ali was also born in the kaaba. The kaaba opened by itself and imam alis mom went inside. The prophet also raised imam Ali. The prophet stated "I am knowledge but Ali is the door."
Being from Quarash does not guarantee Jannat . Abu Lahab was aslo from Quarash too . Have you read the sura Lahab and read and understood the meaning .

Are you friends with one of those scary farista who will punish those who enter jahannam, they called you? Just wondering HOW DO YOU KNOW? You don't even know your own fate brother, how do you know where Hazart Omar (RA) is?
Hopefully Allah will give us more faith than those sahaba who Allah sends to hell ...

Brother please, I too made the mistake of laughing at the Shia idea of one of their Imams still in a well and people dropping written request into the well.
But later I asked Allaah to forgive me because it probably hurt those who believe in this Imam. If they are saying things to insult Mother Aisha, they will have to answer to Allaah.
As I said before it's Allah that has refuted them via the Quran not some random person who we estimate as honorful, but ALLAH SWT only!

Sheikh mumtaz, you forgot to say the part where Omar used to worship idols and killed two out if there of his daughters in the days of ignorance because it was a shame to have a daughter. And how Omar murdered Bibi Fatima a.s by pushing a door in her while she was pregnant. And how he and Abu bakr ran away from battles.

You seems to forget , that the second khalifa ran away from Battle of Uhad leaving the beloved Phohphet Haz Mohammed sw . Why did he do this . Did he chichen out or lost his imaan . Surely person leaving the Prophet in the hand of Kuffar cannnot be so brave .

Proper Muhammad p b u h also states "whoever doesn't believe in my ahlulbayt doesn't believe in Islam" he also has hadiths like : the twelve companions, the day at ghadir, and the two weighty things. Ask hadiths that state that there well be twelve after me and they are only from my family. Sorry to say but you sunnis are misinformed you all should read the prophets hadiths that are still left. There were more but Omar and Abu bakr burned them after the prophets death (sawa)

@johnnymohammed123 shias have their own version of historical events including for battle of the camel etc but why do they beat themselves with knives and sticks? answer this please as they like making posts such as ahlul bayt according to quran and sunnah, but there is no sunnah regarding this. also the hadith about the sahaba's respect and reverence are ignored, the battles between them happened but its like your parents fighting!
