Props to Lage for playing my wedding in 2009.
How much did he charge
It was Seamus Blake, Orlando LF also - trio - I think it was $900 + reimbursement for a couple 40 oz & hotel. With I had it recorded@@piggyfly00
Julian Lage?? Woow! 😮
@@Larriex97 Mr. Lage Lund, not Julian. 😂
@@ujan9837 Oohh, ok 😁. Incredible thing, anyway!! 😮
THANKS EVERYONE! There will will be more coming in 2022. Please if you can, support this stream with contribution in the links in the description. This is what makes continuing possible. Pay for the guests, cost of engineer and upgrades on Cameras, mics etc. Hope to keep this going!!
Just send around 50 bucks for this (dont know the current curency for swedish crowns at the moment, but something like that). This video was exctly what I needed, being home with two cute but puking and tired kids, this totally cheered me up. Thanks again!
@@Sandemose Thanks ! Great to see you in Stockholm and really appreciate the support on another round!
Interesting what Lage says at about 1:42 .00 about “ that’s just the “bar” . It would be interesting to hear each of you articulate what “ the bar “ means to you ( a lot of stuff you guys just take for granted after living and working in NYC )
Guitar talk with cats that are ACTUALLY on the scene? Yeah man, more of that. Please.
Love the insight, and the fact that these four are all a part of the same community, yet have such unique styles and individual voices. Now, time to wonder how Adam and Pasquale play the way they do with action like that... freaks of nature
I agree! more on that :P Very inspiring to listen to them :)
That's, with no doubts, the best thing it could possibly happen in the history of the internet. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Wow, this is amazing- a contemporary guitar summit!
seeing these guys all play together is a reeaaaal treat
Thank you so much for very rare conversations and sessions.
Loved those rhythm changes, so different each of them. I will revisit this video many times.
Thanks Mike and all of you guys!
What a blast!!! So much guitar...
This video made my week. You four have such great rapport and the way you support each other is really refreshing. Of course hearing the group play tunes is a giant treat...but I'm equally grateful to hear each of you discuss your formative years and experiences navigating a career in jazz music in New York-and within the jazz industry as a whole. Great folks making great music-the positivity goes exponential! Thanks @morenovids and gang!
This is just absolutely INSANE! The epic living is back!
Will this video be up on your channel indefinitely like the other interviews, or will it only be available temporarily like the duo concerts?
Thank you so much for blessing us with this kind of rare and unique content, Mike! Loved to listen to you guys talk, play and hang together !
I frequently look up interviews of some of my favorite musicians, as listening to them talk and getting to know them better in some level beyond just the music itself and the records is very often a rather inspiring thing for me. But this was on another level man!
Extra long, super extended, chill, thoughtful, fun and live interview of four of the sickest dudes around 🎸
+
Them actually getting together and also playing some music together live
=
Uncontrollable overdose of intergalactic epicness
Thank YOU Mike
Thank you Lage
Thank you Gilad
Thank you Nir
Cheers from Portugal
I met all you guys at seminars and lessons in Rome, Siena Jazz, New York...You're 4 monsters!
wow.... I love that event.... Feels like been there.... thanks for making it happen and sharing to us.
Thank you, wonderful. Thanks to everyone for just wanting to always play.
Legends! Thank you for this Mike!
liked them all... greeting from Indonesia...
2:21:37 the best crosover of jazz multiverse
2:27:57 makes me wonder if Gilad has listened to ngoni players like Brahima Diabate, not just the rhythmic displacement here but his overall style of embellishments recall all sorts of folkloristic influences to my ears. Does anyone know more about these influences of his?
Thank you for all 🎶🎶🎶🙏🏾❤️
What a guitar hang!! 😱
wow wally's that's a nostalgia. what a great place for music. I used to live just above the venue itself. they were shouting at me go go ..when i was practicing..ok enough talkign to myself
hahaha. What an excellent chat. So fun to hear you guys talk about your background, metal, skating etc......:)
Always great to see great guitarists hanging out together! I enjoyed also ! :)
Stunning stuff as always ! Thanks so much for doing it again this winter. Please come to Keystone Korner in Baltimore - Scofield, Stern & Stryker are all coming...thanks again Mike !
As a Baltimorean, I couldn't agree more
This is insane!!
some very good insight here.
Amazing and very, very fine, thanks ! Béatrice from France
Awesome. Nice one Mike!
this beautiful playing guys, really thank you for putting it out there. i don't know that rhythm changes tune, but you killed it, yeah!
I love the way Mike plays the rhythm changes. Modern, yet still rooted in the tradition of jazz ! Cheer !
Thank you all! Super cool!
You guys should totally do a bill with this group!!
I was missing these videos so much! Thank you Mike and all, this is amazing.
Jazz Santa just left the best Christmas presents
Brutal!!!!!
Sensacional!
Holy cow!!!
daammm quartet at the end is opening portal to new guitar nerd worlds
anybody find that old clip of blonde gilad ?
Love Nir's slight gypsy feel.
So good, truly unique play during this pandemic. But also makes me envision a future understated joint with a simple neon sign that says CLUB MORENO and it's a jazz club in Tribeca that looks like your living room. It has the best espresso and natural wines, and the only food served is watermelon, obviously. Ha!
very nice
oh lol look at lage's look at 1:47:18 "the best guy who was at school isn't gonna be that later on"
not the case with Lage...he was 19 when i was in berklee and he played better than most teachers there...it was nuts.
MIKEE!!! thanks :)
There is missing a Joint in everyones hand 😁🙂🌿😜
Looking forward to next one! When will you release info about up coming live stream? So glad this one is still up. Very generous!
