I was in a Starbucks when I heard this beautiful song and asked the barrista to please write it down. I came home and found it on You Tube and wept my eyes out as your hauntingly beautiful voice sang of my love my for "beautiful boy" who took his life at age 37. I pray that your voice will go on to bless others as it has mine. I sing and dance along with it as a tribute to my son, Sam.

This song is like the balm of Gilead to a broken heart. I’m forever grateful to Matthew for this glorious song. We will see them on the other side, but gosh it smarts on this side. I’m sorry about your loss. I know it all to well:( lost my husband, daughter . And almost lost my mind. But I think about a time when I was 9 and wanted something so much . My mom sat me down in front of the tv turned on the Ethiopian Channel kids with out food and a home . I was great full that I had what I had. Today with all the loss . I’m great full

07/09/2019: a good musician is, at their core, a tired philosopher (ah, you might as well sing)- is there any singing man more tired than Matthew? Or perhaps he's just grateful? (ah, but gratitude is final prudence of the fatigued). anyways, good song, what a joy it is to discover how much this band would come to mean to me, discovered them 8 years ago on an episode of Skins (lest we forget)
