Hello, Im leaving a quick review on this course. I started it last Monday 13/04/2020. Whilst on the lockdown with very little knowledge. Everything is beautifully explained in lots of detail. I finished the course on Friday 17/04/2020. The following day a charity organisation approached me to do a short video presentation for there cause which I gladly took on the project, everything that was taught in the lesson came in handy. From adding all the videos to a short composition. Then adding all the text. Followed by adjustment layers, then adding in graphics from illustrator with the logo of the charity etc. Using transitions, using shape masking . Colour correcting the videos with the filters. I managed to put together a 1 min promotional presentation for the charity which will also be going live on TV on itv on a news broadcast. This would not have been possible to do if I did not do this course. It has made me very confident and I know exactly where all the buttons are and fully understand all the panels. So I would like to thank you for the course and learning experience. Keep up the good work. Thank you so much.

I've gotten to a good level with Illustrator and Photoshop but struggled with AE. All the tutorials I saw were very jumbled and hard to understand. Then I came across this beautiful breath of fresh air, easy to follow while still being very informative. I genuinely feel like I am gaining an understanding of AE. Worth every penny, thank you Gareth.
I bought it and loved it. Already took a course in university and this was way better. Not expensive at all compared to college costs. If you're hesitant, I'll strongly recommend you to get it.

I also really recommend buying the practice file folder, it is literally only 8 dollars, and will help you understand things much better, by practicing along. Comparable courses for motion graphics will set you back at least a few hundred, if not a few thousand dollars. The practice folder for this course is insanely good value for money. For those of you who want to learn After Effects from free online videos here on CZcams but don't know which channel to go to or which learning videos to watch that are worth your time (because they tend to be long), I can vouch for you that this series of 48 episodes by Gareth David Studio is by far the easiest to understand and follow. It may sound daunting to watch all of them in one seating, but I was going at 1.5x speed, still audible and understandable, and I think I could finish this in just a day or two. I'm a multidisciplinary designer with many years of experience internationally working on client projects, as well as an established design educator, but still have yet to master all of After Effects skills, I'd say that this is by far one of the best, if not the best set of tutorials. Are these files compatible to the updated after effects 2024? Like will these files open and run smoothly as I haven’t used after effects before and wish to complete the course and also buy the ore existing files provided by the creator

Wow, after 3 years away from PS and photography and thought I should re-nourish my creativity. I downloaded the trail version of AE and soon realised I needed some help and direction.
