  • 'Nobilis Humilis' and 'S'on me regards' played by Gillian Munrow on the pig-snout psaltery and James Tyler on medieval gittern with a rare appearance by Christopher Hogwood on the gothic harp.
    It is from a UK TV series 'Early Musical Instruments', broadcast in 1976. It consisted of six half-hour episodes, each devoted to a family of instruments, this being from the Plucked Strings episode - others being Reeds, Keyboard & Percussion, Flutes & Whistles , Plucked Strings, Brass and Bowed Strings.

    I was simply astonished finding this gem and this channel who pays the right tribute to one of the most great musicians and musical historicians of all time. The day that David Munrow passed away the world lost a Treasure.
