May Ledge Fishing on Lake Guntersville

May is probably my favorite month of the year to fish. The bass are feeding up heavily after the spawn and are beginning to group up on predictable offshore areas. Once you catch the first bass, that can start a feeding frenzy, and it’s real important to get right back on em. Getting these offshore schools to fire can be tricky. Either none of them want to feed, or they all want to feed once they get fired up. If you can, get out during the week and you can hop around and hit multiple spots.
