Snail Mail Chronicles of Kayla - Wieczorek Farms 30770 Hwy Y Perry,MO 63462
I'm almost 80 years old. I know some things about the hardships of farming. It's been awhile yes, but the memories are still fresh in my mind like it was yesterday. I want you know I'm praying for you and your family and your farm and asking God to bring you emotional relief and peace of mind and to ease your physical stress. I remind myself all the time that he is in control. I know for certain, if it wasn't for my faith in him... I don't know where I would be right now. I don't know if I would be right now. My dear lady, I'm praying for you all there and what you're dealing with. I'm not going to tell you to be strong, because their are times when you got nothing left but prayers and tears... and that's okay. I've had a lot of those over the years❤🙏
Kayla people understand you all are under a ton of pressure with the drought. Trust me people who continually watch get it and understand that you cannot always talk. Trust that sometimes we are ok on this end if you just show mowing / bailing with nothing said. We will still watch for what is just a couple minutes for us but can be a few hours of quiet reflection for you. Sending you and Jason my best wishes and I hope that the rain that came through this first week of August in your area helped.
Everybody is struggling that farm in a drought. Keep your head up you are a very strong lady. Enjoyed your videos.
I'm not a farmer, but I have been in a seasonal business that was dependent on dry weather. It gets tough sometimes. I have experienced tough times, and I had to make a career change to survive. Sometimes God puts obstacles in our way to get us to make a change, not to continue to suffer where we are. PRAY FOR His guidance for what it is that He wants you to do. Prayers for you and your family! Don't stress out over this, everything is temporary.
I enjoy your videos. It helps me feel better when I watch your channel.
I'm so glad!! Thanks for tagging along
Kayla , you & Justin are doing the best you can , keep your chin up , many concerns throughout America farming right now , we as u - tubers care about you & Jason , stay strong , stay safe !!
Both y’all hang in there K, y’all have broad shoulders, and the good Lord will not put anymore on your shoulders than you can bear. Keep fightin guys🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
Hard very hard you’re health is your wealth 🚜🏴🙏
Hang in there girl your doing great
I know how you feel. I have more of those days I just want to cry. We have been praying for rain for months now.
Kayla, when you get down and depressed and feel like you wanna cry, just remember when the going gets tough the tough get going.😊❤
I am amazed how clouds have built only to fizzle out, rains just miss us to the north or south. I am still trusting God has not forgotten those in need.
Kayla Kayla feeling for you guys there l been in farming many years ago in drought which was very hard, it can get to you , things will pass we get thought it , thanks for sharing things with us the good and the not so good l guess it's life for shore, keep positive girl we praying 🙏 for you all keep on keeping on. Rain rain 🌧 come today and give the farmers and Kayla a blessing 🙌 🙏 for you all , cheers from Australia 🇦🇺 👍
Like all farmers. Next year will be a great year. Hang in there we are in the same boat. Taking in water but not sinking. Thank positive for your kids 😊
I'm a farmer in West of Europe. It rains, a lot. We grow wheat, barley. Hail rain of snow we never work on Sunday. And we always get the crop in..
This is truly a hard year for everyone, in our area, everyday we watch the corn and beans shrink and dry up. This dry weather is killing our income, we depend on mowing for our income
Years where you struggle as you have this year will make you stronger, god always provides. I think your around 9250 bales this year so far
As a suggestion take a long a pale of small water balloons, Add a little liquid dish soap. The soap reduces the surface tension of the water and helps it penetrate. Also have a shovel.
I’ll have to try that!!
Hi Kayla. Keep your head up and take it day to day. Praying for rain for you. As for bale count I say 18 thousand. Take care and stay hydrated.
Doesn’t make sense to most people but those of us to know it works.
We take Sunday off. Renews mind and Spirit. Takes a lot of faith but it works I have seen it over and over
I feel for ya. I sure hope that rain does come your way. This Oklahoma guy admires you and your husband's hard work and determination. Keep it up.
Just looked at the weather radar......looks like you should get some rain soon
Kayla how are you and Jason doing? I am not asking were the next video. I am asking how you two are dealing the stresses of farming a drought. No answer is asked for. Just know many of us are praying for you.
Keep your head up girl, it's been a long time ago but I remember when there was a drought in 1980. It seemed like it didn't rain for about a year. The drought was so severe that the two rivers we were next too stopped flowing. It was a very difficult time so I feel your pain
Each day is a new day!!! Just gotta keep the faith! Thank you 🙏🏼
Yes, you need to.
It going to be alright keep the faith GET SOME REST
God is Good! And the rain days have came. And I finally feel me again!
@@ChroniclesofKayla great news
Well sweetie, my heart goes out to you. I hope you get rest soon.🤧
I think I got some rest eventually!!! I’ll catch up this fall

Keep the smiles coming with dates in the tractor and enjoy each other have a positive attitude
I know it is hard when farming but you have to take some time to relax and ease the stress. Take a few minutes and call Meredith and have a laugh or two. Take care.
Praying you get the rain you need. Been spotty this year for us, but, the corn and beans look great in our county. Hang in there. And pray.
Love your videos! Found you a few weeks ago and have been catching up as quick as I can. My GF...soon to be fiance and I are hoping to have some land of our own one day. As for bale's I'm guessing somewhere around 10,500. Hope this comment finds you well! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you all that more rain comes your way.
I'm gonna say 20000 bales. Great video as always Kayla. Drought is definitely hard on all of us. We've finally started catching some rain here and the change in the crop conditions is phenomenal. Prayers that you start getting rain
Hang in there Kayla, I’m praying for you!
There will be better days ahead Kayla. Hang in there….🤗
Prayers for you
My guess on the small square bales is 8,345. Hang in there kayla god will provide for you, remember he will not give you more than he thinks u can handle. We will be praying for you guys to get some rain, we here in SE south Dakota are short on rainfall also. God bless 🙏🙏🙏
All my hay fields only produced 1/3 to not even 1/2 of what they produced last year
Farming sucks, you are not alone, we all go through the same crap, I haven't had a day off since October 2019.
12,550 bales 👍😎
I feel your pain we are in a very bad drought in Central MN. I am a dairy farmer and it is very hard to see the crops burn up we have no second crop. So I hope you get some rain soon. Well have a good day it will get better.
I’m watching your year old video and maybe you can watch our Wyoming life. Mike raises beef cattle from his stud bulls & cows Mike buys a lot of hay.
👍👌❤️🇨🇦, excellent video content
“Tough times don’t last, tough people do!”-Zig Ziglar.
Amen! That’s one of my favorites.
A lot of the country is going through a drought hang in there . 44 years in the ag business farming and we keep going and wait for next yearn and we pull through. Hang in there it is still a good occupation take the good with the bad it always comes back and we gradually pull forward
As a small square guy in Tennessee i feel your pain been short here two years in a row lots of rain just came after my nitrogen was already gone too !! I,ll play along and say 19875
Do you remember the story I told you about the tractor pulling the a john deere and 1 row chopper? It was sorghum they were chopping. Kayla what I done to get thur my hardest time was read a page or 2 in my bible nightly. 3000 bales
I’m gonna say 11,500. Also I understand the struggle of farming I’ve been doing it all my life in Alabama. Just remember no matter what you are dealing with God is alway there watching over you.
I will pray for you and keep your head up
Thank you 🫶🏼
Tough video to make. I am praying for rain for you and all of the other farmers out there.
I would say 26,6k small bales this year. Hang in there and take care. Greetings from the Netherlands
Big hug girl keep on keeping on
Keep your head up Kayla. Drought is tough. It will get better. Hang in there. Rain will come. We got some yesterday that came from y’all’s way. Don’t know if you got any. Hope so. Love that you share your life with us
We got a little bit of a “drizzle” just enough to knock me out of baling but still have dust today when we went back to bale it.
Kayla did y’all get any rain last night
Looked like some was in y’all’s area on radar
Hoping and praying for rain. My sister's farm/ranch needs the rain too, seems like everybody does these days.
I think you have done around 16,000. At some point you and Jason will need to figure out when the cost (financially, emotionally, and physically) of cutting and balling is not worth the effort. The Welkers, in Montana, stopped planting last year as there was no soil moisture and no rain, seeds wouldn't germinate. They were all very discouraged. When rain came so did hail. I enjoy your honesty and do not mind when you cry. Your are not playing baseball (movie reference: A league of their own). Take care and be safe.
We are too wet won't stop raining two days dry rains again ground too wet grass everywhere can't get baled
Hey from the Uk. My small square baler is down atm, knife needed welded up and a new knife edge machined into it.
I have sent some truckloads of hay up there.
You should get some rain today.
It’s always good to think and plan for the future however, some times you just got a live day by day. Carry-on.
Every day!! One day at a time!
Kayla, so sad the situation of the drought is hurting your operation. In Wisconsin we are in a drought situation also but considering that I think we are still not as bad as the southwest part of the country. Hope you will see rain in sufficient amount but not washout like out east.
Your doing greater job in drought we had really dry I planted it sorgham it blow dirt it came up pulled and cows though
I would guess at 10,655
Hang in there Kayla!! You look awesome!! Wish I could help but I’m in South central Mississippi and I can’t make it rain up there.😢🥵
13,500 bales , keep on keeping on , stay safe !!
12,350 bales
Hang in there. Drought is tough, hopefully you can get a little more per bale to make up for your reduced production.
I like the idea of the double packer fork setup, and the fact that it's more "durable" then the 1840 I just don't agree with the 20% more. I wish they would of made it stroke 120 spm vs keeping it the same as the 1840 because you really won't get 20% more if your trying to keep the flake count the same. If it stroked 20% faster I would trade both 1840's in one 2 new 1842's!
I jus wish we had the hay we normally do- to really “test” it - but so far - I’ve noticed a few differences- especially when I do try to run too much through her !!! Takes a lot for her to “clog” up.
@ChroniclesofKayla hows the massey? Is it ivt? Been looking to possibly buy that exact tractor with ivt. I think it would be the cats meow for small square baling.
Yes it is!! And she’s the BOMB for square baling!!! I mean I’ve used her to rake, plant and will be possibly using her to chop silage next week (it’s debatable depending on things) / but I don’t think I’ll be going back to a JD.
I said 8000 bales n my wife says 6200 keep up the good work that you guys do! 5:43
Really hoping you hit some rain soon. We have got some but its still bad dry here. My guess is 23,500 bales.
Hang in
Better week now!!! Just had a rough few days.
@@ChroniclesofKayla did you get rain
A little bit!
Kayla you need to take a day off or two to yourself and relax. You’re coming across as over worked, stressed and burnt out. It’ll do you good. I had to take 5 months away from work as I got burnt out working in ICU and it hit my mental health big time.
I did this past week!!! And I feel SO much better 🫶🏼 I jus am behind on content so finally getting some stuff caught up!!!
@@ChroniclesofKayla hey don’t worry about being behind, it’s your channel. We will all be here for the videos whenever they pop up. It’s currently 00:06 here in the UK.
And that means more than you know !!! Look for smiling faces again 🙃
I know your pain.
The drought is all across the midwest .
My guess is 13,600 bales.
18500 bales for the 23 seaso
Great work 10300 bales
7950 SMALL BALES
25425 small bales, 860 large bales, Keep your head up. ya might just get rain in the face.
Lol 11223 bales
12750 bales
Hey Kayla , I know it's hard sometimes but you guys are going to be ok . My guess on bales is 13,890 . When you're using auto-steer planting....You row cropping 😂😂 I ask last video about your ultimate pickup choice if the opportunity presented itself?.......love the videos. Be safe out there and God bless
Oh gosh!!! Pickup chose … I don’t know if I have one?? One that runs?!?! I’ll have to think on that a bit
If farming was easy, everyone would be doing it.
6800 bakes
Ahwell maybe farming is not for you. I'm 74yo aussie and it's evolution, it's either hot and dry or it's wet and cold. Could be a Polar Vortex or a Polar Heat wave.
12000 bales
16,000
Kala if farming was easy everyone would do it it takes a strong person to farm
It's a really hard year for the farmers in our area here mo I only got 2 thirds of hay this year 2nd cutting doesn't look good either
MASSEY FERGUSON SERIE F 135

You need to cry go ahead, you need to take a day off now before you break down because you are headed that way.
