The '78 Myers is designed to look as if Nick Castle is wearing it (stretched to elongation, pushed out nose, etc), whereas The Boogeyman is designed to look just like a Kirk converted to The Shape. I think that's why the different appearance, anyway. I could be wrong. LOL! Great video!
The TOTS 78 has more of the Nick Castle stretch and it looks more like the mask when's he's looking over the balcony. The Boogeyman however, looks more like the version where he busts down the closet doors.
That pull kinda reminds me of that scene in the original Halloween when Michael is putting his mask back on.
The Boogeyman is fantastic. My favorite Myers mask that I own.
I've got the "H1" and the "Boogeyman", I def prefer the "Boogeyman" over the former. They are both bigger masks which SUX for me as I have a relatively small head lol, thanks for sharing Piz!

I noticed the Tramer is like 30 bucks cheaper than the Boogeyman. I would buy the Tramer and turn it INTO a Boogeyman. It would be cheaper, cooler, and a lot more fun and you get to tell your friends you did parts of it yourself! Part of me feels like that's one of the ways they should advertise the Tramer mask on the site!
It would also be more accurate, as the Tramer has a mold slightly more accurate to h1 then the Boogeyman, I have a boogeyman and a fully covered and rehauled Tramer and the Tramer is more accurate
I’m glad I found this video. I just bought a boogeyman mask from tot and I was a bit worried about the quality. I’m going to re-haul it anyway but it’s good to know it’s worth it.
Got my Boogeyman mask today. Definitely quality wise, it is much better than their other masks. I love the hair to it, full hair masks are a huge turn on. The sculpt looks more like William Shatner, than the other Halloween mask. It’s definitely thicker than my other Myers mask. But I love it.
I bet it's like that because they know people are gonna buy it and turn it into an H1 mask. It looks like an H1 with white hair. All you would have to do is switch the hair up, turn it blackish brown.
I still come back here after all these years to watch this. Helps me on a hard day.

The sculpt comes from the NightOwl Psycho. The boogeyman, the elrod, and the tramer all are the same i believe.
I have the h1, h2, h4, h5 and the 18. I'd have to say my favourite is the h5 just because it's just really well made.

Edit: oddly enough, the tag on the mask has it representing Halloween 1, but on the back of it, imprinted on the mask, it says “Halloween II is a trademark of Universal Studios. Licensed by Universal Studios LLC. All rights reserved.

The Ben Tramer and the Boogeyman are the same sculpt. They are from Justin Mabry's "psycho."
The Boogeyman is more narrow than the original Psycho sculpt, has a better paint job in lighter settings, and has better hair.
@@xxxod Mabry must've retooled it. Is it really bigger than the elrod as I've heard people say?

I just bought the Tramer and plan on turning it into an H1. Should be easy since the main grey color would only need a little white over top of it to bring out the features. Rip the sideburns off, dye the hair since it's real hair, it'll be perfect!

I bought the Elrod for $60 on Nightmare Toys. I prefer that over the makeover Boogyman mask but I tend to buy it soon or later.

Back in February l did message Trick Or Treat Studios on their Instagram account. l tolled them was the difference between the current Boogeymen mask & the new one that is coming out later this year. They say the new updated Boogeyman mask will be redone with better paint job & hair
I have a guy who did a boogeyman mask and converted it into a H2 blood tears
So I'm making a fan film and there is a part where michael trades his burned mask for a clean one, but the only mask I know will fit is the 2018 because I have a small head because I have a small head does the boogeyman go small like the 2018?

I really enjoyed the review. How would you compare the size/fit of the Boogeyman to the 78 mask or the H6 mask? The H6 is my personal favorite fit so far from TOTS.
How does the h6 fit??? I got a h1 78 and h2 mask the h1 is a little smaller then the h2 but still too big for my head. I’ve tried on the 2018 which fit me.
@@prxlem8355 the H6 is smaller than the H2, but bigger than the 2018 mask. Hope that helps some.

measure your head, boogeyman’s run 24-24.5 and the 78’s run 25 inches
The Boogeyman is better but I suggest sharpening the eyeholes for more accuracy. I feel like they made the eyeholes small on purpose so you could enlarge them. They look way more accurate when it's enlarged.

Would you say the Boogeyman or 78 mask off Trick R Treat studios? looking to buy the 78 one but this one looks good aswell, and great work.
The boogeyman is far more accurate to how the mask actually looked, the main tots 78 is sculpted to look like how it looked when castle wore it.
