04d Physical examination - headaches

Lectures for pain specialist trainees preparing for their exams (FFPMANZCA, FFPMRCA), or anyone else that is interested. This lecture focuses on the physical examination of someone with headaches.

Good but not complete ;on general appearance; mental status (low in any cause of increased ICP), any signs of trauma ( laceration, bruises, deformities), lacrimation or rhinorrhea ( Cluster, URTI), horner ( cluster), rash ( meningitides), fever ( URTI, sinusitis, temporal arthritis with PMR), fever and neck stiffness ( meningitides, encephalitis, SAH), palpation of temporal artery and feeling for hardness or nodularity or lack of pulse there ( temporal arthritis),fundascopy ( papilledema, other causes of swollen optic disc, HTN retinopathy)
