One of those all time classics... Don't matter if your into Techno, Jungle, DnB, House, Trance, whatever! Everyone knows this choon!
@@benlewis7464 This would be Garage. 🙂 Old Skool UK Garage to be more precise.
Now here i am sitting being a 47 year old dude, remembering the days ;))
To find this type of garage its best to look for "speed garage" old skool garage includes the 2k's where speed garage like this track was mid to late ninties.
you will come across these classics while looking up any ukg stuff, so anything you search will net results. it will very depending on the dj list your looking at
Im 51 and play this full blast in my car. MoS album ❤
This always has been and always will be the best garage track ever made
2024
Every garage head knows this is the steppers anthem 🔥
This isn't the 'original mix but this tune set London alight in 1997 - Speed Garage was everywhere that year in London - the pirates, clubs - everywhere and this was the biggest tune of the lot. Still sounds fresh 22 years later.
This is not a typical speed garage. I really like it, it's heavy and psychotic, as for me, it smells strongly of dissociatives
A classic tune that reminds me of the good old days 48 and still loving it ❤️🎶🎵🎵😊
when this came out, it blew minds.
The granddaddies of tunes. Love the feel good bass line on this beat
Before 1999 I was at that age between 16-18 and had been to only a few adult nightclubs, then I made a friend who used to listen to pirate garage stations,we lived in Harlesden and for bonfire night Kiss fm were doing something in Bergers park by Elephant. He didn't know it was a free gig and climbing over the fence I slipped landing on a spike which went in 3/4inch in back of my leg. This mate was older and so we carried on.We got to the music to hear the LAST tune of the night which was, yep, double '99'.
Richard Ring Thats a story to tell your fucking grandkids man, wow thats sick
How the f is there dislikes for this classic. One of the pioneers of UKG
Woah, how can minimalism sound so wide and booming. This is nostalgic and one of the best garage tunes out there 👌
Drop this in any nightclub or even any watering hole and i know shit would go down !
This used to make the crowd dance at night clubs. Not a single person was stood still.
I can't believe I just found out about this on Spotify. I've never heard this song before and I'm in my 30s. This deserves way more views
You've got the rest of your life to catch up for all those plays you missed out on
Unbelievable track, totally underrated …. This brings me so many memories of clubbing in London and Agia Napa
I really miss the nineties dance scene, but it still lives right here. Played preferably at high volume with headphones 🎧 🏴🇬🇧💎 Nov twenty three
You can 100% tell that joyryde took a ton of inspiration from this track and this sound. His entire style is bassed on it.
This song still holds up -- love it
Peeps,
Just to clarify...this is the 2006 re-issue of RIP Groove licensed from us (thus our "Original"). The Ice Cream Records original is from '97 aye.
Peas, love & harmony
Lol just saw this. Sorry for my comment lol gals you know this isn’t the original. 👊🏻
The Ice Cream being the best version by far. No offence, This seems watered down some what.. Lost it's rough edge.
I could play that drop on a loop and never get bored
Again...superb. stretching decades. Never a big lover of this sound. This delivered across all genres.
I remember this banger from Club Europa in Sheffield in the late 90s. As already been said this used to set the place alight. Was never a huge garage fan but love this beauty
FUNKIN LUV IT !!! Many night's stompin to this XXL London.
Absolute banger, all night, all day, back then, right now, forever
What an absolute banger. It has everything. Wish I was a bit younger to have enjoyed it at the time. However it's timeless. I've listened to it so many times and it's just as good every....single....time.
So many memories to this song. It set the dance floors alight in 1997-1998
Very happy to find this tune. I sampled it off a pirate radio station many years ago and used it in many mixes but never knew the name.
This sound is next level. Please create more.
Bad arse bass tune still in april 2020 uk lockdown🍺🍾🍻
Big up mate!! Just as things start to try and get to normal you realise there's no clubs or pubs!! Raving it up at home with a few bevvies!! 🍻🍻🍻🍻
This is still one of the best drops!
Was in TOTP audience when they performed this in Oct 97. Who else wishes they could travel back in time to those days?
that beginning is so good
Clássico melhor tempo porra SDS da toco over nigth se loco gratidão imensa te nascido nessa época 👏🔥💣🇧🇷💓

What the shock! That BEAT!! 🎶
Bring it on..Still a bangin tune.
Luvin this version
Yeah this is way diferent than any version I heard back in the 90s or early 200's I mean it's the same track, but there is some additional sound effects and doubling? It sounds fucking amazing!
Timeless! 🎶 ❤️ 🎶
I remember this when I was a teen
39 now and still slamming these sounds. Nevr 2 old
This ain't the original, 1997 was the original. This is the Tim De Luxe remix from 2006 I'm sure. A cracking remix non the less, but not the original.
You're right. This is the Tim De Luxe remix from 2006. Tim and Omar did the original one though
Damn I used to love this tune. What a kick ass times it was.
Blinder of a chooooon - the baseline is just ................ say no more - even in lockdown you can still enjoy yourself to this pukka piece of music 💯👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻march 2021 👌👌
best of all time tune bass on it :)
I loved another level mixed in - no I don't wanna be alone no more
Oh shitttt this takes me way back to those Napster days rocking out it in my bedroom all night.
them - why are you playing this in a techno set???
me - shut the f**k up & get back on the floor XD
Bro that bass tho 🔥🔥🔥🔥
If my mates didn't leave the bass note clean in their track (where this - and hundreds of others - was sampled from) then the speed garage scene landscape would look very different.
I can't get this one out of my head, and I can't find any others like it!!! Where are the other tunes like this?
Takes me right back - happy days!!
The first 30secs and you know instantly what is coming!!!
You have to wonder why producers don't make insane shit like this anymore
That female singers voice was sampled in let you go by sammy virji. I really reccomend you check out his songs
DEPRESSION.
BUT THAT IN OF ITSELF IS AN ERA

Hadouken's rendition of this song is still one of my all time favorites!

Still have this wax gem, and it is *STILL* an absolute banger in 2023
old song from the 90s but omg i love the drop to this in love

This was really ahead of its time. It sounds like some Bass House track, or JOYRYDE
Me and my buddy were just saying that we’ve for sure heard this before and cant remember if it was in a joyryde mix or a habstrakt one
mc grindahhhhhhhh
Ah yes. This jam takes me back
This song was ahead of its time
f££k off and create your own music snd stop trying to steal ours. The song WAS its time
For the record, this isn't actually the "Original" version, this is the Tim Deluxe 2006 Rework.
I love this songggggggg

Lyndon Edwards - yes buddy this is deffo the TDL Remix '06, but as you said, top notch anyway :)
Swedish House Mafia UMF 2023 🔥
Still banger 💥💥💥
Nothing can come close to RIP groove.
Rest in peace spin spin sugar...
Buuuuuffffff.. me da un infarto con esto directamente..
for 24 years I have always wondered, what the bloody hell the time-stretched dude is saying. Anyone know?
It's a sample from UK reggae artist Top Cat, and he's saying "Brock Wild" which is basically the same as "Shock Out!" and means "Go crazy!".
It's sampled from, the very start of, his classic "Request The Style" tune.
Comes in at 3:40 - czcams.com/video/-80wMYTtLbE/video.html
damn... 20 years past. I'm fucking old. Classic, memories
still love it in 2017
The golden era of the UK sound.
