I think that this is just how real friendship is in Japan once you find your in-groups. Once you show that you have integrity, people genuinely commit to trusting you. It blew my mind when I lived there. Strangers too even. There's just a sense of community trust there that I'm not sure really exists anywhere else on such a scale. I find it amazing that in Japan they can have decades long abandoned convivence stores that aren't totally trashed and graffitied like here in the US.
They tend to clean up the place every single day. It's a must for the workers to make time to clean the shop everyday.
@@prajwalshrestha6972 I understand that for an open and functional store but an abandoned one doesn't have workers to clean it daily. It's a nice thing that their culture respects private and public property a bit more.
There was even a pristine knife when he looked through the window!
I dont know about trashed and graffitied here (probably not in the more rural areas) but the stuff inside would definitely have been taken by scavengers. There are all kinds of abandoned places that end up technically falling into government or some bank's hands because nobody has paid property tax and/or mortgage on them in a bazillion years and scavenging stuff out of them while probably illegal by the letter of the law is not really seen the same morally as stealing from a functional shop or a closed one that is still owned by a person or company (especially if the bank now owns the place lol).
The truth is that even if someone came and re opened the place later all the stuff inside would be going to the dump anyway so its better that it gets put to use by someone. Kind of a scumbag move to take abandoned stuff and sell it though.

Yup, because you need a type two license to drive a taxi. The traffic laws must be broken or altered in order for Uber to be allowed in Japan, which is a big deal.
And the they drive your car because you're drunk thing is called Daikou. A difference from Uber is that you can go to the bar or wherever you drink in your car as long as you don't drive it yourself on the way back home. So Daikou drivers have to be able to drive a stick shift in case the customer's car happens to be one.
also, have u seen the garages in apartments and stuff? It would park, platform and all, into a slot. By an AI. When you need the car you press a button and the freaking platform comes ALL THE WAY BACK.
