Wouldn't want a boss monster, but a monster that helps consistency. Like a link 1 that needs a level 1 zombie monster.
Ive been playing this deck for a very long time and i can tell you that what it really needs its a link 1 monster that unbrinks your hand.

I was considering that 1 level 1 zombie monster would be a good option, but looking at the other link 1 monsters it can honestly just be 1 level 4 or lower zombie monster. Eldlich also wouldn't be able to abuse it since all their trap monsters a level 5 and above.

Even with the potential negate on a King, the Skull Servant player had the Lost Wind still in the back row.
Lost wind wasn't live as traps can't be activated when set from the grave

As the point of the negate on King would have been during the attack (aka it's Skull Servant's turn), it was live.

Been playing grass skull servants since master duel released and gotta say it’s a lot more competitive then people give it credit for I made platinum with it easy multiple times. But sometimes it’s draws all servants and you brick shithouse

How does that brick you? I’m still new to the lingo, but can’t you just play defence for a touch and then pull everything you need from GY or the banish pile?
When I play zombies it’s the only deck I don’t surrender with, because iv legit won with 100 life points or just a bit more sooo many times, I haven’t played this game since set 1, like the first game. But skull servants and zombies in general are my faves.
I keep some variation of skull servants around to play with. It's always fun.

Didn't realize pendulum was so hated...i havent played Yu-Gi-Oh since the og days where it was only fusions in the extra. I just got into Yu-Gi-Oh again over the past few years and when i got into master duel my 1st master pack 10 pack i got 2 solfachord URs and a 1 SR solfachord cards so said to hell it with it and made a pendulum deck, its so much fun imo but man its not competitive, i had to fight this deck and reconfigure it like 10 times to bully my way to plat. Didn't realize it was that strong back then tho.

Skull Servants have more than enough space to run anything they want, that's why this deck is so broken.
Can a Borrelsword break that board? I feel like with the ability to gain half the Atk from Chaos Ruler and add it to Borrelsword is enough to get a victory, though he still need to find a way to play through Lost Wind

It’s not even that op honestly, several spell cards wreck this deck, I found a whole ass enemy deck once where every thing they attacked got banished somehow and I couldn’t activate single effect nor summon anything from GY, And I have all of this guys cards and a few others to play with.
Side note, I love the soul absorbing bone tower with skull servants, and if I pair that with a few grave robbing cards it’s a pretty trolly fight
I would like to see like in old days equip card that gives direct atack for lvl 1 monsters
I usually keep one just in case I face a crooked crook but otherwise the beat sticks servants benefits more from protection of wightmare with a target control
In jp we have this shop that sells single in my locals everyone loved the uncle of that shop and his price is reasonable like 100 yen just for ghost orge

btw this man misplayed big 1:30
he could have ended with dagda and halq if they did the play a little different. or at least verde and dadga.
basicly he could have summoned dagda with kuribo and one monster thats not level 1,
then activate kuribo in the grave to summon itself by tributing the level 1.
then chain dagda get scythe,
then use dagda and the link kuribo for verde for dpe, so you can scythe them on their turn,
however if you had a tuner you could make halq instead for wonder magician into barrone instead of dpe.

The rokket player did play well but did a misplay aswell, he shouldve popped with dpe in battle phase to avoid mezuki summoning back the king
I prefer 40 cards Skull Servant, that's the deck I have been playing since the release of Master Duel and it is super fun! :)

Tbh the only difference between competitive and not is if you have handtraps and strong generics like access code or DPE

The Dragon Link Player would have won if he negated after attack declaration the effects of King of the Skull servants with Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss, because Linkuriboh can only activate at the attack declaration. Even if the Skull servants player activated Linkuriboh during the attack to summon it, and a replay of the attack occurred, Linkuriboh can't activate it's effect at the replay of the attack because it is ruled like that.
And Lost wind wasn't able to activate, because it was set that turn
Yeah atking to linkruboh wouldve been lethal but I dont think most player will pay attention to these very small details during a stress match while 10k people are watching you after already playibg for several hours .

"Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to this card's effect activations." I'm pretty sure that is why it wasn't negated, not that he had his toggle off.
see,there is a free chain timing right after access code talker's atk boost effect resolves if you toggle on, you can activate the sphere or archfiend' effect then. Dont change the match result though since he has 2 skull king servant attack on negated DPE

What does “toggle on access code talker” at the end mean
the toggle refers to plays you can respond to. your field will light up. you can turn the toggle off to fake out your opponent but you can't respond. the other option is to set it to auto and it will give you the option to respond each time you could *potentially* respond.

How does MST negate?
MST cannot negate, but it can make other card effect fail to meet its requirement. Field spell and continuous spell/trap require the cards on field, so MST can stop those effects.
It's a running joke for yugioh boomer well it can distrupt some continuous spell and field spell
